The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Website provides aerial photographs of Jenin showing the minuscule area of the city actually affected by the fighting.

This was a great post. I have bookmarked the link. Good gosh FOX or somebody has to jump on this story this shows how badly the news is manipulated those ground cameras show a field of total destruction but when looked at in comparison to the whole town of JENIN.Its an area 100 meters by 100 meters...about 1/10th of the town an nowhere nearly ALL the refugee camp at that.Looks like tremendous accuracy by the IDF rather than blowing everything up indiscriminantly.

There was no massacre in Jenin. There was, however, a massacre of the Truth by the Palestinians and their accomplices, the shameless lying Media Whores who wanted there to be a massacre so that they could make Israel look bad.

The networks should show this view of Jenin. I won't hold my breath. Wow ! these pics certainly show the "massacre" story in a different light, and the networks should absolutely be showing this view !!

What is a "refugee camp" (of so called refugees from an event of 54 years ago) doing within an Arab city (controlled for many years now by Arafat who has gotten billions in aid from around the world)? It's kind of like bacteria in a lab. In normal circumstances they would simply dissipate, but when they are cultured and kept for a purpose, they multiply (and really stink).
Quite simply, these "perpetually kept laboratory refugees" are nothing more than pawns in the Arab/Muslim agenda to eliminate Israel.
It needs to be said again and again: The ENTIRE nation of Israel (under current borders) is SMALLER than some US COUNTIES (e.g., San Bernardino and San Diego Counties in CA), whereas Israel has two Texas-plus-sized Arab/Muslim neighbors (i.e., Iraq and Saudi Arabia) with VAST tracts of unused land that could be given to the Palestinians.
But the "concerned" Arab neighbors will not give ONE SQUARE INCH of land to their Palestinian "brothers," namely, because they FEAR them and LOATHE them. They will only let the Palistinians gain land at the expense of little Israel.
I had an Egyptian friend in college. He shared with me on the QT that other Arabs call the Palestinians "the Jews of the Arabs" behind their back. (For those who may have had too much beer today, that phrase is NOT intended as a term of endearment toward the Palestinians).
Case in point, whereas Palestinians can (and do) hold Israeli citizenship, vote, and hold political office in Israel, Palestinians in Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, on the other hand, MAY NOT become naturalized citizens, vote, or hold political office in those Arab/Muslim countries.
Some kind of Israeli oppression, huh?

Looks like a govt housing project in Chicago.

My dad flew fighter escort on some of the famous thousand-bomber air raids, and still thinks the dirty Krauts deserved all they got and more. Can't say I disagree. That's what happens when you start a war and lose.

Aerial Photographs of Jenin 100 sq metre is about the space occupied by 15 suburban houses. For you Yanks that's about 1070 sq yards.

Jenin could use some good landscaping.

I am shocked and appalled at anyone's concern here.......the lack of trees, open space, greenways, and park areas should horrify the slow growth crowds in the yuppie towns of America. The Palestinians don't know any better than to build on top of one another, obviously don't know anything about setback requirements, and can't quite tell from the aerial views how bad the violations of paint color codes on buildings, signs, etc.
IDF should actually be thanked by the leftists among us, because there is now some space for the precious urban greenways that we are being required to keep here in good ole USA.
Wonder if any Jenin signs in the shape of mushrooms have been disallowed for violating a sign ordinance (like in Raleigh)? Wonder if any Jenin Taco Bells had to be repainted a more dull color of taupe to fit in (like in Cary)? Wonder if any Jenin photo exhibits documenting gay elected officials across the countries of the Middle East were destroyed in the violence (like currently on exhibit in Carrboro)?
(Please note the heavily ironic, sarcastic, and tongue-in-cheek sentiments from our little part of the world here......Slow Growth/Liberal Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro NC)

The pictures are from the Israeli Government. They are under enormous pressure to prove that they did not commit a horrible war crime in Jenin. Do you honestly think that they would put incriminating pictures up on thier own website?
The Networks probably aren't covering this cause they know that the pictures themselves are biased.

52. When is "giant robots with flamethrowers" week?
I need to schedule ahead :D
To: gavriloprincip
Hmm, you mean those pictures were doctored, or that facts can be biased?

Thanks so much for posting this!
Is this incredible or what? The national media will not show this, they are going mad with their massacre stories to discredit Israel.
Our media, along with the rest of the world are clearly racists. Funny, they are the first to condemn racism in any other case. Hmmm.

Come and see the "massive destruction" in Jenin!

Screw the Cubs fans. Send them back to where they came from.

Israel is under intense pressure from a large portion of the globe after what has been described as a "massacre". One shouldn't expect Israel to be taking an unbaised look at their own behavior on a website seen throughout the world. They might not have physically altered the pictures, but they could very well have picked out the most flattering ones for display.
Israel has a lot to gain from those pics. Not saying that they committed a massacre. Just saying i am going to need independent evidence that they didn't.

Dude...You had me going. I didn't think about the arguements you brought up. Way to go.
