Rape, theft, and murder have been illegal ever since before we had laws. Suppose we ought to just shrug and legalize those behaviors, too, since we are losing those wars. In fact, there's an endless list of things we could legalize in order to punish those uppity bootleggers. The primary purpose of the controlled substance laws is to grant a health-care monopoly to the federal government and it's agents. If you ever get cancer you will belatedly discover that you have no freedom when it comes to your treatment. You are channelled into barbaric, government-approved treatments, even though most of the cures are as bad as the disease. And someday you won't even be able to buy an aspirin without a prescription. Or a can of aerosol paint, because some suicidal numbskulls insist on abusing it.
I hope you enjoy being a slave to the government's health care system, and I especially hope you enjoy it as more and more of your paycheck goes to subsidize it.

I'm glad you asked. . .
TEXIAN. A word (in Spanish Tejano) describing both male and female citizens or the culture of the former province of Tejas, New Spain, the Texas section of the state of Coahuila y Tejas, Republic of Mexico, and the subsequent Republic of Texas.
Government officials including Miguel Ramos Arispe, author of the Mexican Constitution of 1824, referred to the residents of Texas as Tejanos. President of the Texas Republic, Mirabeau B. Lamar, used the term Texian to promote national pride. The current term Texan eventually replaced both terms after annexation.

Thanks for the great pics! It looks like a great time was had by all. I especially love the pictures of Humblegunner defending our Republic. Was there a good turnout? I was at the Texans' Draft Day at the Dome (celebrating current Texan stuff) but I thought of y'all and I promise I'll try to stop having plans on the thrid Saturday of the month. :)

Where was the "BatMobile". That was the goofiest car I have ever seen.....
To: American72
"I was just sorry I couldn't find ya'll!!' The turnout was massive, we had difficulty keeping
up with folks we came with! It is a very large park.
To: Allegra
We look forward to seeing you again! I'm not even sure if
the "3rd weekend" formula is still in effect, things
have either accelerated or gotten more spontaneous, I can't
decide! I will make a point of informing you, regardless..
