I'm helping Israel by buying Israeli products from Israel Direct.com. The stuff is first rate, the service prompt to the USA, and the prices are reasonable.
I'm listening to Israeli rock music right now that I got from them. I don't speak a word of Hebrew, but it's way cool.
If anyone reading this has purchased great Israeli goods, let me know what and where to find them. Thanks in advance. Janice
This type of bond creates taxable income until maturity. That's probably not great for me as I don't like paying taxes on interest which I won't receive until the bonds mature.
I have donated directly to the Jewish Agency of Israel and numerous funds for terrorist victims. The buy Israel products idea was an extention of this.
As it turns out, I love Israeli music and now even plan to learn Hebrew with a CD-Rom called "Smart-Start".
