What is with his armpits? Sheesh. They do have shields for people with excessive oozing.

The problem with a sign like that, is is says that the people who made the sign believe most folks need to be told that it is still Gore Country. That sign says, "If we didn't tell you this is still Gore country you would not know it."
They might just as well put up a sign that says. "Support for Gore is not obvious."
Do you notice the defeatism in all the stories? They say Bush stole the election. It is like a losing team blaming it on a bad call by the refs. Think about how a coach that wins a lot handles a bad call He never ever lets his players blame the call. He will point out all the things they did wrong. He will point out over and over that if they had done those few things right they could won the game. They would have one even if the refs had made 5 bad calls.
A party that thought it could win, would do it like the winning coach. They would say if each precint worker gets just one more vote out, we will win. Then they would say If one more will win, We need to get 10 more. We will not be angry if we win by a landslide. We will be looking for excuses if we lose. If they have all 9 judges, we will get out the vote so it never gets to court. That is how a political party consumed with winning talks.
They would have talked about how they were going to out organize, out work, and out campaign the Repubicans. Instead they spent time attacking Bush. That is not what a winner does.
A winner always talks about how he is going to win. A loser talks about how terrible his competitor is.
