Just reported that a small engine plane crashed into a Skyscraper in Milan Italy

OK…Try this…A terrorist flies the plane towards the city…calls in some sort of mechanical problem so the F-15's don't down him when he comes in low over Milano. Make sense?

Sure. Why not? There is no mechanical problem I can think of that could cause a plane to fly uncontrollably into the tallest building in Milan. Consider this implausible scenario:

1. Plane develops a "mechanical problem"
2. This "mechanical problem" causes the plane to deviate onto a course that leads directly to the 25th floor of the tallest building in Milan
3. Once the plane is on that course, flying straight and level, the pilot can no longer control the plane

Right. I buy that.

These things are coordinated attacks, any updates on the rumour from the European Stock Market at close that there is another plane from Rome somewhere..(maybe with a single pilot, too)

This is the Pierelli(sp?) Bldg. and was considered the heart of Italian finance. The Pierelli Co. has moved it's headquarters from there and it is now largely occupied by govt. workers.

I do believe this to be another act of terrorism, and not a failed SOS call that went terribly wrong!

That building was centerpunched on the floor which would be most likely to result in a 9-11 type structural collapse.

360* in a circle times 90* level to vertical is a LOT of sky.

Possible engine trouble (pure speculation) has nothing to do with steering a plane.

Anyone who thinks this is a coincidental accident is in denial or is a moron.

Its too bad that on FR we have a group of sorry bastards who have no sense of discretion, no shame. Gotta rush their jokes on here, when you have potentially a 9/11 copycat attack and deaths. This isn't a security guard unplugging an x-ray machine, or someone freaking out over spilled sugar. There are deaths and injuries, but I guess since it didn't happen to Americans, it doesn't matter.

Even though an SOS was sent about engine trouble, it still doesn't make sense that on a clear day the one tall building in town was hit. The pilot wasn't trying very hard to save his life... but he did want to bring attention to his plane before he hit the building. It was a performance.

The video of Osama bin Laden that was just aired by AlJazeera included a rant about the devastating impact the WTC attacks had on Wall Street.... bin Laden was quite proud of that -- Now the U.S. market is tanking after this plane hits a building in Italy. People need to get a grip and stop letting themselves be played like nervous fiddles.
