On a recent visit to my brother's house in Charlotte, NC, I saw the following on my sister-in-law's car:
My question is exactly what does the "Well-behaved women rarely make history" statement suppose to mean? Any opinions on this out there?
Misfits bump...."I got something to say..."
You and I are the only ones who will get it.
No doubt--that's why I can't remember the long list of infamous bimbos I wanted to mention.
Forget the word "women". Replace it with "sheeple". Our Founding Fathers weren't exactly "well behaved". Sometimes you gotta break the rules. Get the idea?
Oh no your not!
Good say yes to boys who say...., er, listen to Metallica!
Actually my wife used a midwife when we had our son, and we had an incredibly terrific experience.
I was a wreck, my wife was of course mildly incapacitated, but our midwife was in COMPLETE control- she knew her stuff, backwards and forwards. Not a complicated birth, but no cakewalk either, and she handled it like she had done it 4000 times, which of course she had.
I have nothing but good things to say about midwives for uncomplicated pregnancies. I helped deliver my son, and I kept the umbilical scissors I used to cut the cord - try that with your OB!
I saw one once that I loved... "Half the patients who enter an abortion clinic NEVER COME OUT ALIVE!"
All you have to do to see the accuracy of my thesis is look around you. Look, in particular, at the people who, like you, are making average incomes for doing average jobs -- bank vice presidents, insurance salesman, auditors, secretaries of defense -- and you'll realize they all dress the same way, essentially the way the mannequins in the Sears menswear department dress. Now look at the real successes, the people who make a lot more money than you -- Elton John, Captain Kangaroo, anybody from Saudi Arabia, Big Bird, and so on. They all dress funny -- and they all succeed. Are you catching on?
The interesting thing here is that my brother told me that, when they did the midwife thing, insurance will not help. But, if they went to the hospital (where the cost is quite a bit more) the health insurance is there to help. If this is true it is just crazy...
EVERYBODY knows the movers and shakers drive aqua blue pearl coat Honda Odysseys LOL!
Or is it white Volvo station wagons?
I like the other historical bumper sticker "Every mother is a working mother." That's from the days when women thought they had a monopoly on working and hardship. Oh, I'm sorry, those days are these days.
LOL PERFECT!
Even better than, "Keep Honking, I'm Reloading"...
