Hope you guys don't mind the pictures. I know some of you out there have not seen the skyline of NY with the lights on and I figured the rest of the Freepers in the rest of the country as well as NY would like to see them this one last time and get an idea what they look like from Brooklyn.

Thanks for the pictures. I was in town last week and there were a couple of clear nights when I could see them very impressively from the Battery.

Thanks for the flag. A good reminder as to why we must exterminate the subhuman (yes, I said subhuman) entities who were responsible for this.

I didn't know they were still on. Funny, I got the same chills I got when I first saw them. Thanks for posting these.
You think you're getting over it, but you don't.

BTW, I regret I never saw it, and I just learned yesterday it was visible from the Tappan Zee :(

Good post. Appreciate it. Any word on what will be built there? The first several floors of any new building have to be dedicated to those who were in the building, and the heroes who rushed to it.

I am so disappointed. I was going to NY this summer, I wanted to see the lights. I don't know why they didn't leave them on for the summer, when they know people come visit.

Thanks for these. My local radio news (ABC national) said they were turning the lights off at dawn. I know that didn't sound right.

Thank you so much for sharing these with all of us. It brings me to tears again. God Bless us all.
