Hugh Hewitt just played a clip of Netanyahu saying that the IDF soldiers were killed by a 10-yr. old suicide bomber. Clip was from Fox News - this is unbelievable and I couldn't find a post of it anywhere.

HE should be a popular man on these boards...

The furthest back I remember hearing THAT saying, is when the Missourians were attacking and burning Mormon farms in the 1835 era, and often killed the usually numerous Mormon children, while shouting that epithet.

I suppose, it could have been remote controlled with the little boy serving as a "human robot". I hadn't even considered that possibility. The Palis put the Israelis in a 'no-win' situation...shoot the boy, and be crucified in the court of public opinion, or do nothing, and suffer casualties. Whatever would all the pro-Pali students demonstrating at Berkeley today do if it comes out later that the Palistinians are using children as 'homicide bombers'? (Gloria Allred used that 'homicide bomber' phrase today, while she was condeming Arafat. First time EVER I have agreed with Allred on ANYTHING...wife thought I had finally lost my marbles.)

Why is it that if an American parent "lets" their 16-17 year-old kid commit a crime they can be "held responsible" for that crime or, at the very least, be charged with abuse? However, when a Palestininan child blows himself up the parents are not only not mentioned by the press, they get a monetary reward.
Why isn't the UN, with their "rights-of-the-child" mentality, decrying this exploitation? Do they really believe a 10-year old obtained the explosives, built a detonator and did everything necessary to construct a high-powered, lightweight, shaped explosive charge all on his own?

It must have been a very catchy slogan. Human passions have always been inflamed towards genocidal acts...

Remember a couple of weeks ago, there was a report of a Palestinian ambulance. When it was stopped, a little boy was in the back--atop a load of weaponry.
Also, just listening to Michael Savage...
He says he has a report that Palestinians are not burying their dead. Their intent is to stack the bodies; then, after Israel does pull out, they can claim massive atrocities.

I think they ought to fire even on a TWO YEAR OLD GIRL, if she is a threat to them. I concur, but can you imagine the FIELD DAY the left-wing media and the socialist dupes on the college campi would have if Israeli soldiers shot a child? Remember what happened a few months ago, when it was believed that Israelis had shot a Palestinian boy? Even if the child were found to be carrying explosives, pro-Pali media and students would claim that the 'evidence' was planted by the Israelis. Pure BS, of course...but when you consider the intellect of the average American, the ramifications are frightening to consider.

As you say "as young as eight." This was seen in Vietnam, and other conflicts as well. While lacking maturity and independent judgement (not much asset for a solider anyway) they are often quite focussed and very capable of uncomplicated tasks. Whether or not this particular incident on the West Bank turns out true, I find nothing at all unlikely in the idea. I expect to see more of it. All these young men between the ages of 16-25 are being taken away to internment camps. Every one of them has several younger brothers. In Third World countries, no one sees anything shocking in a 12 year old doing a man's work, if he is physically able. In emergencies, an even younger one might step forward. Afghanistan is even more full of such men-children.

Israel should simply sever all communications with the outside world for three weeks. When they come back on line, and the world notices that there aren't any Palestinians around any more, the Israelis should simply say, "They went away."

Are they ALSO DELIBERATELY try to spread DISEASE??????? That is what THIS sounds like here FOLKS!!!!
To: The Vast Right Wing
I doubt that. If this is true, it will be almost hysterical to watch the international press and the europeans ingnore the incident. The death of an innocent ten year old child will not be ignored by the press. (I'd use a humor or sarcasm tag, but it's not. If this is true, thats how it will be played on many newsdesks)

Its getting to the POINT where I TRUELY believe we need IMMEDIATELY to detain ALL Palestinians in this country or we see this spread HERE FOLKS!!!!!
To: xm177e2
Let me guess: the ten-year-old was feeling desperation and no hope for the future, blah blah blah... Now how can the liberals say suicide bombers are anything other than brainwashed religious zealots?
You know dam* well liberals and their medial lapdogs will not blame the child, but say that the adults, feeling desperation and no hope for the future, taught this child to do this. And THEN they will continue the usual whine about the poor oppressed Palestinian people (who could have had a homeland 50 years ago if they had not chosen to follow the Arab/Islamic fanatics).

ROFL at THAT the truth!!!!!

You recall: "The furthest back I remember hearing THAT saying ... " As someone else commented, it must be catchy, human nature being what it is. A very early reference is John Webster's 16th century play, The Duchess of Malfi. A character gestures towards the bodies of executed children and says: "Alas, how have these offended?" And the Cardinal replies: "The death of young wolves is never to be pitied."

Yes, I do. Benjamin Netanyahu ( sp ? ) on FOX Cable News said it. I heard him, as I was reading the other thread ; so I posted it.
