The National Youth and Student Peace Coalition is planning its April 20 march to oppose the Bush administration's war on terrorism and its effect on domestic and global issues. Protesters will rally at the Washington Monument grounds at 11 a.m. and expect speakers including Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King III. A march is planned after that.

While these "anarchists" may claim to be against state socialism, look at the programs that they support.

[Also, anarchists aren't leftists; they're extreme rightists.]
What, are you a journalist? To them, there are only two political types: "moderates" and "rightwingers"--in their lexicon there is no such thing as a "leftist."

Hey Boston,

A number of us were in DC for their September 29th rally and in NY for the February 2nd demonstration. I can tell you this: I have never felt safer than when I was on the streets for those events. In addition, I deliberately walked among the America-hating crowd during the W Inauguration. Believe me when I say that the DC Police, and their back-ups, are more than ready.

Don't let these people have the streets of MY Capital City to themselves.

The Compost will dutifully report turnout numbers fed to them by the organizers of these marches. It looks as though these clowns are hoping to riot in DC this summer.

Would love to see a Freeper begin a fund that would pay for vouchers for kids in terrible schools. I would gladly donate to such a cause. Without a proper education, there is no hope for a decent future!

I said these kids are dumb."
Guys, A better word would be "ignorant" for the majority of the young folks. MADE that way DELIBERATELY by the willful Ignore-ants of the education commune-ity. But, ignorance is curable {IF the distinction is SHOWN to the ignorant without alienating them}, while "dumb" is forever. Peace and love, George.

It's true. The DC police also protect the Freepers. They can't say it publicly, but to our faces they've told us how much they appreciate us showing up and giving another opinion.

Man, I can't wait for the 20th. I hope to see a thousand Freepers on hand!
