Hope I have done this correctly - Been on FR for some time and even post once in a while.

My brother - in -law is fighting cancer, he has good docters and all, but is not progressing. He and my sister are full time police officers and this is adding stress to their family like you would not believe.

My prayer and fasting does not seem to be helping, so I thought it best to try and ask (in very humble tones) for some help in the prayer department.

Neil works in a large Southwestern city (pardon the lack of details, I'm sure you will understand) and is holding up as only a Marine vetern can.

Please remember him in your daily prayers. I'll be visitng him next week (I live in AK) and will report back to those who ask.

I ask by the stripes of Your precious Son that Neil be healed, in Jesus Name. Father, if you can heal me from this disease, you can heal Neil, as You are no respecter of persons. You have healed me, I have seen testimonies of You healing all kinds of people from this dreaded disease; I've seen tumors go away and even fall off a lady's face on TV.

Father Lord, please lay your healing hand on your servant and heal him of this cancer.

There is a "maverick" (who thinks outside the box)doc out at Duke University that is treating cancer victims that other docs have said were incurrable. He is having a number of successes needless to say. He doesn't win them all, but it's not from lack of trying! Saw it on 60 Minutes last night. He has 150 docs and scientist working on his team. Might want to look into this.

Please don't think your prayers are not helping. God hears every prayer spoken in faith. He, Himself has asked us to pray for the sick. I will join you in praying for your brother-in-law. Let's pray for good doctors and medical personnel who will be led by the Great Physician. Let's pray for all God's purposes to be realized as he walks with Your brother-in-law and sister through this trial. My own brother has just been through something similar, and God has revealed great and mighty things to him as a result of what he has been through. And never once has He left his side. God bless you and give you strength and hope.
