President Bush concluded his weekend meeting with British Prime Minster Tony Blair today in Crawford, TX. Blair spoke to a crowd at George Bush Senior Presidential Library Center at College Station, Texas where he said that Iraq must allow weapons inspections or face the consequences. President Bush headed back to the White House this afternoon. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

We will have fun! Be watching for it......if it's true. Honestly, I'll be disappointed if it's not!

Hey, I was born and raised (until I was eight anyway) in the Bay Area too! I was born in Albany in 1954 and lived in El Cerrito. Could we have been neighbors? LOL!

The election map of California is just like the national map. All blue on the coast, except for San Diego county (way to go San Diego !!) and all red in the rest. Gore only took about 10% of the counties didn't he? It was the same here in Washington State. Gore won 5 of the 39 counties! Errrrrr.

Yes, most of the state of CA was for Bush, only those few little areas went for Gore. Those few little areas have HUGE numbers of 'Rat voters though. Enough to make my vote meaningless. :~(

That sounds a bit like the line from Silence of the Lambs (Hannibal Lector voice)..."I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti"

I only have two more years to go....oh well, you have to accept those things you can't do anything about!

It's as if someone flipped a switch or something.

Man, truer words have never been spoken! It's as if, all of a sudden, everything just says "okay, you better take better care of me or else!" I have to attend much more to my teeth, my skin, my body, my emotions...

As for the physical part, W is certainly an inspiration! Now, if I could just get out there and start running.

Last year, for Lent, I did Tae Bow for the entire time. Every single day. I figured if I did it all through Lent, , why I would surely keep it up. Afterall, Lent is six weeks, right? I'll be so into it that I won't want to stop. Well....the day after Easter? Never put the video in again and walked away as if that 6 weeks hadn't even occurred. AAARRGGH! I'm so lame.

Must we do it gracefully?

Yeah...I'm a bit skeptical about that wedding story being true...but I have seen quite a few pictures of those two together...and they don't ever look like they're studying...they must not have to work too hard at good old Oxford U.

With Bill Clinton attending the wedding and reception, I wonder if the Brides-maids will be carrying pepper spray for the reception?

He11 no! I make a point to moan and groan about it each and every day! (Just ask my hubby, poor guy!)

Hm....I just realized that I have given myself away - I am not actually a Mountain girl. Oops!

OH, I'm jealous. It's only 7:30 out here. My kids are screaming, "mom, what's for dinner?" My husband is out of town so I'm taking advantage of being LIVE on the Dose. So, I'm like, "dinner? Who needs dinner? I've got some wine and the Dose!" So, y'all have to excuse me while I go....call the pizza man! Be back in a jif.

Not just the bridesmaids, even the flower girls need to have some pepper spray with that nasty letch around (letch ?? lech ??? now that's a word you don't have need to spell everyday -- maybe pervert would be a better choice ???)

With everyone talking age, I have to tell this story I got via the net. Those things aren't usually funny, but this one hit home.

It seems this woman went to a new dentist and noticed he had the same, fairly unusual, name that she remembered a classmate in high school having, a good looking guy.

Then she saw the dentist and said to herself, "well, that gray haired old coot can't be him."

Nevertheless, she asked him where he went to high school and it was her school. She asked him when he graduated, and it was her year. So she said to him, "you were in my class!"

And he said, "What did you teach?"

Well, If I was to pick someone who should carry "Pepper Spay" it would have to be the groom :-)
