President Bush concluded his weekend meeting with British Prime Minster Tony Blair today in Crawford, TX. Blair spoke to a crowd at George Bush Senior Presidential Library Center at College Station, Texas where he said that Iraq must allow weapons inspections or face the consequences. President Bush headed back to the White House this afternoon. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Dubyah's looking a little rough today, but he's still got that crisp salute. Ahhhh. After 8 years of a limp wrist, I never thought I would see this again.

Thanks for the ping and the encouraging pictures.
I was at the Bush Library, at the Texas A&M campus on Friday and saw a great exhibit of George W. Lots of early pictures, Governor of Texas items and then WTC items featuring the bull horn he used to address the rescue workers at ground zero. Letters written to his Dad following the orders to go into Afghanistan were particularly moving. I would encourage anyone to stop in if you are in the area. There is also an exhibit entitled "Two Fathers, Two Sons, Four Presidents", highlighting the lives of John and John Quincy Adams and George H.W and George W. Bush. Nicely done!
Thanks again Rintense. It is always good to end the day knowing GW is still our President!

Note to Self: This a thread about our dear President Bush. We do not have to talk about those people ANY MORE. Do not clutter it up with white trash talk!

Oh that Chelsea Clinton getting married thread is hysterical -- I always used to feel a bit sorry for her...until she wrote that awful "What happened to ME on Sept. 11th" piece of junk...the apple didn't fall too far from the tree there...
(Never been to a wedding where the groom was prettier than the bride)

Oh, I know there are conservatives in California. I mean we didn't elect Ronald Reagan for Governor, twice, without them. Unfortunately for me, I grew up in the Bay Area which is now a breeding ground for liberals.
Actually, some of the suburbs are okay - the one I grew up in is anyway. But, sheesh...San Fran...what a disgrace that place has become. Last summer I was home at the folks' place and my brother was perusing the 'pink' section. That's the entertainment section in the Sunday SF Chronicle for any non Bay Area people - interesting that it has always been the 'pink' section. Anyway, he says to me Dad, after viewing about 1/3 of the section, "is it Gay Pride week in San Francisco or what?" and my Dad says, while rolling his eyes, "everyday is Gay Pride day in San Francisco!"
The election map of California is just like the national map. All blue on the coast, except for San Diego county (way to go San Diego !!) and all red in the rest. Gore only took about 10% of the counties didn't he? It was the same here in Washington State. Gore won 5 of the 39 counties! Errrrrr.

Ya learn somethin' new everyday on FR, huh?
I'll check it out...especially if it's in a pretty blue bottle. I love pretty bottles...that's how I bought wine when I didn't have that Blow Fish reaction. Oh my...maybe THAT's what my problem was! LOL

turning forty (which was actually a couple of years ago) has been one heck of an eye opener! Oh man, I know what you're talking about. It's as if someone flipped a switch or something.
