American servicemen at Guantanamo Bay are so angry about the superior treatment given to the terrorist detainees that the military is sending in shrinks to try to prevent explosions of "inexplicable rage."
The al-Qaeda and Taliban fanatics at Camp X-Ray have received better treatment than the U.S. troops guarding and caring for them, despite all the whining from European and U.S. left-wingers, International Red Cross, United Nations and other blame-America-first types.
In fact, the Miami Herald reported today, the Muslim detainees:
"had two hot meals a day plus a cold lunch while the Marines and Army Military Police were eating field rations" from plastic packages.
enjoyed showers weeks earlier than the Americans, who had to make do with a garden hose.
scream at, spit on and hurl water at the servicemen, who are "working nearly nonstop."
''They did those atrocities to us, and we're treating them like royalty,'' fumed Marine Lance Cpl. Nathan Howell.
The Pentagon is suddenly concerned about its mistreatment of the servicemen. It fears they might "later explode with seemingly inexplicable rage - at their work or their families," the Herald reported.
The attempt at a solution: A special Navy psychiatric team is counseling and debriefing each of the estimated 1,000 Marines, soldiers and sailors at the compound.
''Many of them feel the detainees are being treated better than they are,'' said Cmdr. Karen Daly, a Navy psychiatrist and officer in charge of the Special Psychiatric Rapid Intervention Team, which has begun making rounds.
But our men and women in uniform are leery.
"Officially, the military culture embraces the concept of mental healthcare. But other parts of military culture teach people to button up their emotions and do their jobs," the Herald reported. "Daly said she learned since coming to the base that some Marines refer to psychiatrists as 'wizards' and caution each other, 'Never talk to a wizard.'"
Commander Points
Our thanks to your command for their service to America.
Not only are you keeping tabs on a very unwholesome enemy of America with a propensity for murder and boring harangues, you are also standing guard on some of the most evil enemies of the freest country in the world.
We have the greatest appreciation for your tremendous strength of character in executing your double duty with perfection. Your dedication and devotion to the highest principles is admirable, inspiring and heroic.
It is crystal clear to us that the world's leftist media and socialist bleeding hearts altogether with the obscene provocations of the terrorist prisoners in your charge would try the limits of mere mortals. Hence your reserve qualifies you as the elite warriors deserving the highest recognition.
You are in our hearts and thoughts, and we salute your service as we continue in these days charged with danger and met with courage.
God Bless You All and God Bless America

This is my first post since FallGuy and I just got back. We met COB1 at the airport for his 45 minute change in flights back to Texas. It was so good to meet him in person.
Tonkin , can you post the wonderful link you made etc. about this at the Canteen and we should do it again tonight when I do the thread for tomorrow too.Unless you have to get up for Coast Guard in the morning.
God Bless your Marine....tell him he has our thoughts and prayers....and to hang tough!
btw....my son is in basic at Fort Jackson...now I have my son and hubby in the Army.
I believe these good men need royal treatment, food, hot water, comfortable beds, good entertainment for what they have put up with looking after these spawn of Lucifer.
I'm thinking George W. Bush should invite our courageous soldiers guarding these demons to a fine White House Texas Ranch Style Feast and a night of sterling entertainment with their spouses, and/or close friend. And how about a special tribute given to the parents of these excellent dedicated soldiers?
A solid round of applause and ^5's in gratitude to all of our soldiers men service to our country so that we will remain free.
Also, in closing, George W. Bush should call for a day of recognition and salute in honor of these valient young soldiers all across the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Tell the psycho docs they can go home.

Thanks Tonk, that's a good idea.
Two lucky guys to have a fine women like you. Please thank them, for me, for their service to our country. I am very proud of them.
These simple questions remain unanswered: WHO is responsible for the policy of coddling the mutants instead of treating them like the putrid scum they are. Since when has the United States of America been commanded to answer to the Red Cross, Amnesty Int'l, and the other Leftist "humanitarian" groups??
I would suggest saving the jpg, printing it out and then taking it to the best tatoo artist you can find.
