ALEC Baldwin might be a bloviator, but a wife beater? The National Enquirer claims in a front-page story that the actor used to hit his spouse Kim Basinger. The couple's divorce was granted in February, but they still haven't worked out the financial settlement. "She's worried about his stability," one "close friend" is quoted in the weekly. "She claims he hit her more than once." According to the Enquirer, Kim arrived with a new bodyguard at a recital at their daughter Ireland's California school, and sat as far away as possible from Baldwin. Several calls to Baldwin's rep yesterday were not returned.

I guess he couldn't get to Kenneth Starr, so he lashed out at the nearest available person.

This is really pretty sad. Steven Segal was the same way. I wonder what makes these seemingly well-put-together celebrities act so vicious. Childhood?

Wouldn't surprise me a bit. A lot like a Napolean complex, the girly-man feels the need to show his "masculinity." I think she would kick his a$$, though.

Thanks.
If this is true, I don't think that this surprises anyone who has observed the dangerous behavior of Clymer Baldwin!
Look at the current behavior of Bill Press and Al Hunt and the current crop of Clintoon defenders on tv for more insight into left wing bullies/thugs.

Tough guy Alec probably practiced on Kim to get the courage to head on over to Henry Hydes house.

It doesn't surprise me a bit. Many have witnessed his anger out of control. He took out that paparazzi remember? Anger management classes are long overdue. This guy has issues...because he always HAS TO BE ANGRY about something. Not a happy, positive dude.

In all fairness, Bassinger isn't totally sane either. she's a fanatical vegitarian, remember? Isn't she also a supporter of PETA? I couldn't stand being in the same house with either one of them. They're two of a kind. She's just a little more personable is all.

This is really pretty sad. Steven Segal was the same way. I wonder what makes these seemingly well-put-together celebrities act so vicious. Childhood?Well-put-together?!?!?! Baldwin and Segal?!?!?! Obviously you are using a definition of that phrase that I am unfamiliar with! Heck, Steven Segal used to receive massive complaints from stunt coordinators because he was too rough on the stuntmen during filming. I expect him to be an a##hole.
Besides "well-put-together celebrities" sounds like an oxymoron to me, anyway...

At least Kim had the character and fortitude to ditch this dude, even if it took her a while. Unlike Hillary, who is universally hailed as a good mother even as she subjected her daughter to daily "lessons" that it's okay for men to treat women like dirt (or worse).

Easy enough to resolve. Let's just ask him "Have you stopped beating your wife?"
;-)

"She's worried about his stability,' one 'close friend' is quoted in the weekly."HA!!
*She's* worried, eh.
I dunno...I think I might just crack.
Why just yesterday it was reported the Sink Emporer Clintigula raped two women; & now, this.
Too much truama, too soon.
Think: Alec Baldwin...man amoung men, champion of the downtrodden underclasses, friend of peoples in *high* Socialist places...a woman beater.
~sigh~
What is the world coming to.
:o)

Segal is not too well liked in the Martial Arts community for his bloated ego. Surprising for an Akido practioner of his quality.
