Question: Bill O'Reilly's Exact Political Stance
4/2/02

Posted on 04/02/2002 8:55:27 PM PST by TMC_13

He's generally labeled by the media to be a regular old conservative. I guess this is based on issues such as for example, his repeated assults on the arguably poor image and/or influence of the entertainment world. And even tonight at Harvard, his stance against reprimands. Yet, I could swear hearing several times in which O'Reilly has stated that he's against the Death Penalty and certain forms (I'm not sure if it's all) of Racial Profiling. So isn't he of sorts, really an ever changing moderate!? That's not to say that O'Reilly should be a fall guy of sorts. I say this since the Fox News Channel, for all intentive purposes, built its fundation as being sort of a response to the alleged bias in mainstream journalism (i.e. the alphabet channels) when in return, they hire people like Geraldo Rivera and Greta Van Susteren.

Bill is against the Death Penalty not for the same reason as Liberals (in part) but for the same reason I am a former Death Penalty opponent, it is too easy. I just realizd that there is no way we can put some vicious criminals into nazi-typconcentration camps (im not being sarcastic)because of the Leftists in this country so I just said, screw that I am for the Death Penalty.

Bill O's stance on the death penalty is that death is the easy way out. There is more justice (in his opinion) to let someone rot in a jail cell.

He's not a conservative by any means, he opposes the death penalty, is (according to him begrudgingly)pro-choice, and also supports enviormental regulations. However, simply put, he just hates liberals and leftists. Its more partisianship then idealogy with him. Hell I know democrats who hate liberals and leftists (I'm from NYC, don't ask).

I wonder what his stance on abortion is? I get the feeling he's a conservative in the Jefford's mold. The media says he is, but issue by issue, his consevatism just doesn't exist.

He's pro-choice. Somehow I knew what side he would come down on that issue.

O'Reilly is a populist. He likes to think he speaks for the "little guy."

He is anti-Death Penalty because he's a Catholic, and many Catholics (like Tony Snow) believe that being against the Death Penalty is the proper & consistent pro-life position.

I've watched enough of him to figure out that he is a country club Republican who thinks he can spout off a crack that will make his golf caddy like him a bit better. This explains the death penalty and abortion stances. A good country clubber knows that both the death penalty and welfare babies cost them too much money in taxes, (from fighting liberals in the appeals process), so O'Reilly would prefer to skip a moral stand on those issues.

O'Reilly's love for Bobby Kennedy is revolting.

RFK was a fellandering piece of garbage, almost certainly complicit in the death of Marilyn Monroe, but MUCH more importantly...ARCHITECT of the despicable IMMIGRATION REFORM ACT OF 1965...which destroyed the traditional American system of gradual, Europe-preferred immmigration and assimilation, and replaced it with Third World quotas, removal of limits of non-European immigrants, and reduction of immigration for white immigrants. Thirty-seven years later The results are all around you...devastated inner cities, "white flight", rampant crime anong non-assimilated groups, a welfare and "housing" abyss, and a country more divided and less secure than ever.

In addition, Kennedy was a dictator as AG, with an enemies list to rival Nixon's. A man truly unworthy of admiration.

At least Snow is "consistent" in being aginst abortion. O'Reilly is for it.
