This does not brother me, I realize that it could be used for evil purposes, but in the event of a real bio-terror attack then government MUST be able to move quickly to defeat the attack. That might very well mean rounding up everyone in the affected area and quarantining them, might even be neccessary to burn houses, and seize private hospitals.

War is hell, and we are in one, I am glad they are thinking and planning. Might just save your life and mine.

Maybe I missed something, but just how would confiscating my guns, generator and food stop smallpox from spreading? The state and federal governments have plenty of resources of their own to send their own supply of food, portable electrical generators, and ammunition without a 21st century "night of the long knives" against the people that they are supposed to serve.

And it might just be used to settle grudges and personal scores...and while you are so happy about it, do you really expect them to compensate you for your house after they torch it????

Or do you think it will be more expediant for them to just torch you as well in order to elimate your claim against them?
