Most of the money and much of the brains behind the Islamic terrorism emanates from the Arabian Peninsula. Pakistan has now shown itself to be both a source for terrorists and as well as a haven for fugitive terrorists. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan seem to me greater threats than Iraq or Iran. Both countries have highly developed intelligence agencies and have been able to project an appearance of sympathy to the War on Terror, while doing little if anything to stop the terrorists which operate on their soil hidden from international scrutiny.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan seem to me greater threats than Iraq or Iran. It depends. They are different threats. Iraq is developing serious weaponry. Saudi is the banker. Iran may overthrow their clerics and join the modern world (because they once were there.) If we have to take them one at a time, I give Bush credit for picking the order. I trust he will not stop short of completing the job, and as you point out Pak ans SA are on the short list.
