87% Palestinians support martyrdom operations
Nablus- An opinion poll organized by the press department at the Najah University in Nablus yesterday revealed that majority of the Palestinian people supported martyrdom operations against Zionist occupiers.
The poll that included 327 persons from various affiliations pointed out that 87.4% of them supported continuation of Palestinian martyrdom operations.
72.4% even supported expansion of those operations to cover all areas within the Zionist entity and not only in the West Bank or Gaza Strip.
The poll showed that 64% also backed martyrdom operations launched by women commandos.
Another 79.5% expressed belief that the only solution to the conflict with the Zionist entity was continuation of resistance and intifada.
The poll displayed Palestinian pessimism towards future of the Middle East conflict and the American role as 64.5% objected to American envoy Anthony Zinnis demands while 62% said that the Saudi initiative did not serve as a suitable foundation for setting the Palestine cause.
Give the Arabs a few more years. They are working on it.
It was just a throw away line.
Using your stats, it is 100%, Palestinians that is.
87% want to sue for peace - 13% support continued suicide bombing.
At that point -perhaps - negotiations should be attempted; but not till then!
Never, this is all these people know. They are truely ignorant which makes the 87% figure very believable. The amazing thing to me is that 13% are against violence or at least are not sure.
Ignorance doen't give them a pass however. They are dangerous even though ignorant. Being ignorant, however, can can kill you in this world. When ignorance picks a fight with smart, smart wins every time. The laws of "Natural Selection" are going to be very hard on the Palistinians I am afraid.
Then they can't complain if the Israelis suddenly show the same lack of concern for 'murdering civilians'.
I've been posting the following suggestion on every thread I read on the Israeli/Palestinian war, and hope that out of 80,000+ FReepers, most will soon have read it.
Israel should immediately begin the policy of arresting the entire families of suicide bombers, sending the message to all potential suicide bombers that their impoverished families will never benefit from the $10,000 reward promised by the Palestinian government (and subsidized by other Arab countries). Further, they should announce that all the younger members of their family will be taught Judaism.
Considering that a majority of Islamists apparently believe that Jews make pastries out of non-believers' blood, it shouldn't be difficult to convince them.
but. . but Islam means peace . . . doesn't it? It couldn't be the Muslims.
You are such a wussy, EMB, 87% should die in the way William Wallace did in Braveheart ('Drawing and Quartering').

You've got me there. The last thing we need is the cream-puff approach. Thanks for setting me straight.
However, the fanatics have unlimited financial support from Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Libya, and Egypt---and it's only going to get worse. The Palestinians are just the tool in the Islamic goal of eliminating Zionism completely. Nothing less will suffice...
That being said, if Islam is allowed to become a world super-power, America will never be safe.
Yeah, I've read a lot of those but the visual image of putting a gun to the head of an infant or 4-year-old child discouraged me from supporting such a view. Neither would world opinion, already against Israel, support such deliberate actions (in spite of the fact that they support suicide bombers killing whoever is in range).
I feel so strongly about my suggestion that I even e-mailed it to Sharon (although I forgot to mention the part about converting the youngest ones to Judaism). I know it would not solve all their problems, and may not even be possible, given the intel required to locate these families. Since they haven't yet changed their tactics, I can only assume that either they have more important things to do than read e-mails from the backwaters of Tennessee, or they do not think it viable. It would be nice if I could get enough FReeper support to flood their e-mail system so that someone would eventually consider the possibilities.
If you think it a good idea, then encourage a FReep to Sharon at: rohm@pmo.gov.il
