I think it is better. Perhaps a little more spartan than necessary (I thought a nice middle-ground between what was labeled the "beta" and what we have now would be best), but much better nonetheless.

The new features are really nice! I noticed all the complaints from the FRholics are mostly about appearances. And the Robinsons are taking pains to clean it up a bit.

I would like to see light blue background with flag at the headliner area but the rest of the format relatively unchanged a bit.

I agree with you. In particular, I find the "latest posts" page to be unnecessarily spartan. Also, and I'm sure it's temporary, the option for viewing new threads and comments at once is gone-- or did it move some place that I didn't look?

Under the old forum, when it said "5 comments", there would be the main post plus 5 replies. Now when it says "5 comments", there is the main post plus 4 replies.

I think I'm going to kill myself and then quit FR until this feature is fixed!

Just here to let you know I most cordially disagree with you. It's not spartan, it's uncluttered. The majority of people who frequent special interest group forums aren't much interested in anything other than the information, familiarity and ease-of-use, by the way.

I just noticed on the Mail page, we now have the option of viewing our 'sent' messages. That's great!

I agree, the header bar needs the added visual mass of a darker color or a flag or something; and I'd like to see a line between the right-hand sidebar and the body.
