Don't like what I have to say ? Nobody is holding a gun to your head, and forcing you to read them.

I've been here almost 4 years ( longer than you have ); never had a problem with the many changes, and didn't complain .

I'm not the only " webbie ", and some have also compained, and many have thanked for my 2 cents worth, since they don't want to / like to post.

I was replying to a snotty post ( wherein I was told to go buy a computer ) , when I talked about not using my husband's computer, nor wanting to order him out of his study, so that I could use it. If that seems a bit stange to you, then I am sorry that you have no manners, no respect for others, and are so rude.

No, the original, and even this fixed format is hard on " webbies " as it overloads the unit, and slows it down so much, making it incompatable. The unit shuts off. This " fix " is better, but still not what it has been. It's better than it was, so, that's a step in the right direction. If no one had complained, it wouldn't have been fixed. Simple, really, but all you care about, is complaining about me. LOL

Perhaps , it is you, who should log off, and sleep on it.:-)

I realize you were writing to OhReally, but I just wanted to let you know how much I agree with you. Nobody held a gun to any of our heads...it only seemed that way because we couldn't get through this thread without having to wade through your complaints. It was like being held hostage, with the ransom being that your demands were met, and met IMMEDIATELY or ELSE (with else being that you wouldn't stop complaining).

I read all of your hysterical commentary, and I also agree with OhReally, as he noted that for someone who bitched nonstop about not being able to access Free Republic, your posts indicated that you could.

In fact, a quick review of your comments shows that you were posting on more than one thread within minutes of each other, several times. But you said you couldn't. You remarked that your system was sloooooooooooow, and yet, it wasn't so slow that you didn't keep returning. You bitched about getting a migraine and how awful the colors were, yet said you couldn't see most of the pages, and you guttersniped at participants and the owner of Free Republic when it was uncalled for.

I have been around Free Republic myself for a while and rarely have I encountered anyone as obnoxious as you were on this thread, nor anyone who contradicted themselves so many times in one place. Your reaction seemed no more than a cry-baby tantrum because you choose to use equipment that a majority of users don't use.

Fortunately for you, it worked. You must be very proud of yourself for standing up for your rights and demanding that you get your money's worth from Free Republlic, or else. It's been a valuable lesson for me in the art of tactical website warfare, so I do thank you for that.
