The farms have been getting water all winter through other gates for the areas that do winter soaking and wetting. And the river is still flowing like crazy, lake is ready to run over. About the same as last year. The water shortage was a scam.Ed Hubel.

Special thanks to Jim Robinson amd Free Republic.com's FREEPERS Had lurked since the Newt Gingerich Party on Vashon Island,Washington,(98) but the water issue forced my hand to FR and a great membership. So I can quit burning money over the water now and send Jim Rob some!!! Fight is far from over but this is a moment in history!

I agree, a lawsuit is in order. I would suggest that the farmers look into hiring the same law firm that won the spotted owl suit in California. We should start a fundraising drive to contribute, as soon as they have a legal team in place.

Subsidized my ass! This water was paid for last year at the cost of 5.7 MILLION dollars and was never delivered. The farmers in the basin OWN the project, IT IS THEIR WATER! Paid for in blood in WWII and over and over again in cash to the government, who never gets it right. You need to study the issue, and apoligize to the farmer's for a remark like that.
