Subsidized my ass! This water was paid for last year at the cost of 5.7 MILLION dollars and was never delivered. The farmers in the basin OWN the project, IT IS THEIR WATER! Paid for in blood in WWII and over and over again in cash to the government, who never gets it right. You need to study the issue, and apoligize to the farmer's for a remark like that.

Forget him. He has been told this several times and keeps coming up with his second grade mantra re subsidized water.
Whenever we have good news, the losers on life have to come out and try to pour their miserable outlook on life on the winners!

IT IS THEIR WATER!What exciting news!! Thanks to you, JeffHead, GrandpaDave and each and every one of the patriots who fought and fought. And kept us informed. And put up the petition for us to sign. Pardon the tears in my eyes. These tears are for YOU!
And I remember the naysayers who poohpoohed President Bush's words as he stood there. And bless Rush for helping. God bless you all, and bless the farmers that managed to hang on and those who had to give up their farms.

I agree! These farmers paid for it more than once! There was no hand outs here! This is their lands and their water and they are the best stewards of the land in the area as all the reports show, as well as all the wildlifes' bodies that died as a result of this infamous attack of the so called "do-gooders" for a fish that has survived a long time in the first place! But eagles and others were toast cause they had no water! God Bless America and the true parents of the land!
