Time to make an example of a CFR RINO!!!!!! Here's how.

Today sucks. CFR has been signed by Bush, and the RINOS and RATS got a big win. Now, I am PO'ed, and hoping for the courts to do the right thing, which is NEVER a 100% sure thing.

I say it's time for some paybacks.

I'm not a rich man. I do not have a lot of money, but one of the biggest RINO's, is a guy named Fred Upton, a congresscritter from Southwest Michigan. He is from a GOP leaning seat that went for Bush and has some strong conservative areas. Upton is pro-abort, voted for CFR, and is a real gun grabber as well. MCRGO will not endorse him, and the NRA didn't endorse him either.

Upton has a PRIMARY challenge from a strong conservative. Current State Senator Dale Shugars. In fact, he's almost too conservative for me on some issues. I'll take that over a RINO any day of the week. He's 100% pro-gun and pro-life. He RIPPED Upton for his CFR vote. This guy was a very good state senator in my state, and will be a good congressman as well. He has experience. He also CAN WIN.

I can not vote for him since I do not live in his district. I do not work for his campaign. This is strictly on an issues basis here, and not a personal favor.

I have just written a $25 check as of RIGHT NOW to this campaign. I encourage all the freepers PO'ed about CFR to do the same. We can make an example out of Fred Upton. This is a tough race, but winnable, especially in a primary. Good luck to Dale Shugars.

One of the problems here is that incumbents simply never lose their primaries any more. And very few lose general elections if they are serious about running again.

In a previous post I referred to Kyle Janek as "moderate." Actually, he may be as liberal as State Sen. Jeff Wentworth of San Antonio. Janek authored a taxpayer-funded abortion bill in the TX legislature in 2001. Now he is the Republican senatorial nominee is a Harris-based district represented by the retiring J.E. "Buster" Brown. Wentworth faces a Democrat who may be less liberal than he -- perennial candidate Joe Sullivan of San Antonio. Sullivan in the past has sought to oppose U.S. Rep. Henry Bonilla, but he never secured the Democrat nomination to do so.

I talked to a woman in Bellaire (Harris Co.) who supports Janek. She said that she OPPOSED Gary Polland because he is a trial lawyer and had defended "unsavory" clients. She also said that Polland had intervened in a Bellaire municipal (officially nonpartisan) election on behalf of a candidate that she opposed. She was adamantly anti-Polland. Perhaps she is not as conservative as she claims to be. I had just not understood that Polland had made enemies in the Republian in Harris Co.

BUMP one month before the primary.

I was at a MCRGO meeting in Kalamazoo. I saw NO UPTON SIGNS. I saw a SHUGARS sign though. I'll even leak this. MCRGO's PAC has given a 'strong recommendation' to Shugars and is 100% against GUN GRABBER Upton.

Let's do this! Vote Shugars.com
