Just typical actions from our socialistic educators. Of course they would see nothing wrong with his ideas - they too hate our government and are teaching liberal, socialistic, Marxist ideals. People that believe their rational just want to be brainwashed.

Any smart parents will be sure their young do not attend that college no matter how "enlightening of other views" it is. They are after the minds of our young and they expect you to pay for it.

If you live near this college sign up for this professor's class. Go to class and challange him on every point. If you are already a college graduate and are presently working or you are retired, you already are miles ahead of this guy. If you have studied economics at all, you can expose him for the complete twit that he is.

So this idiot is opposed to capitalism, eh?

If anyone takes this guy's classes, ask him if he owns the house that he lives in or the car that he drives or the clothes on his back.

if he says yes to any of the questions, he is a hypocrite.

How hard could that be? It's a community college. Pay your 100$ and harass the guy nonstop.

Tenure is stupid. We need to purge anti-Americans from our colleges and universities.

I am new on here. Is there some way to PING all the Texas Freepers? The more I think about it, the more fun this could be.

The only reason this guy has any influence is because all of his students are 18 to 22 year olds who agree with every thing he says because they don't know any better and they want to get good grades. Put a few people in there who know better and arn't worried about grades and the guy is toast.

"...to protect them from such an uprising in the community..."

Yes, we wouldn't want to be held accountable to the tax payers, would we?

"I think that capitalism is a system based on exploitation and oppression and domination and racism and war — and lots of other things."

Just another good democRAT.

""I have a fundamental disagreement with capitalism," Mr. Smith said in answer to a question about his Marxist beliefs. "I think that capitalism is a system based on exploitation and oppression and domination and racism and war — and lots of other things.""

.........and like, um, you know........what other like, you know........things would those, um, like be, Mr. Smith? Um...........dude, um..........what drove your sorry arse out of New York, like, you know? Only to pop up in some obscure, small-town Texas community college, like, you know??

"As I told several who wanted this man fired, today was the perfect example of why college professors need tenure: to protect them from such an uprising in the community," Mr. Hayes said.

See,this is where they go wrong. The community ARE the employers of these professors, and they are the ones who pay their salaries. As employers they don't have the right to dictate personal political beliefs, but they DO have the right to forbid professors from teaching their personal political beliefs.

He will not only fail you if you do,but see that you are thrown out of the college and not allowed to return. Trust me on this,it happened to me in the early 1970's.

This guy was on H&C last night. Hannity asked him how he could support a system that was responible for murdering 10's of millions of people.
The guy said that that was "just a matter of opinion". He also used the same tired old "it hasn't been tried with the right people in charge." And that "democratic socialism is not the same as Stalinism."

The main thing this guy needs reminded of (with a ball bat) is that humans will not function under a system that rewards sloth and ambition equally.

I also found it interesting that his "democratic socialism" is exactly what the DemocRat party is trying to institute in America. There is no doubt that the DemocRats are socialist/communist.
