The Boy Scouts are right. There is no calling to sacred to keep gay pedophiles from their obsession. The recent revelations about Catholic priests is just another chapter in a growing body of evidence that homosexuality is not a "normal" human activity, rather it is obsessive in its victimization and recruitment of the young.

What all this means is that homophobes are justified in their fears. In fact, it is very likely that homophobia has its roots in molestation. How many young boys have had their faith in God, their trust in the scouts, their confidence in adults, shattered by a grim experience?

How many gays were coerced into the lifestyle through molestation? How many had an involuntary first sexual experience at the hands of someone they trusted? How many gays are gay only because they know no other sexual experience and fear heterosexuality?

Homophobes should feel no guilt, in fact, they should feel more vigilent, based on the most recent revelations that only add more fuel to the fire.

What I don't understand is why virtually all the victims of priestly pedophilia are young boys. There are an equal number of young girls to molest in the Catholic Church, if one is so inclined. So why does it happen almost always to boys? It can only be, it seems to me, because the molesting priests aren't merely pedophiles, they're gay as well

Look I grew up in a large Catholic family. This is the non PC truth. Any time a kids parents thought he might have homosexual tendencies he would be strongly encouraged to go into a religious order. This does not mean all priests are homosexual but an abnomaly large percentage are.

But who's doing it is exactly what the issue is. Remember, God doesn't approve of adultery, not because He disapproves of using the equipment in a heterosexual way, but because of who it is doing it. But not reacting to something with violence (which is what prohibiting it is, since it involves the threat of punishment and that punishment either is itself violent or is imposed by the threat of violence) isn't moral approval. In fact, reacting with violence to something which isn't by nature a crime (and not all sins or wrong acts are crimes) is itself wrong and no person should morally approve of it. In fact, since such is itself a crime, violence against a homosexual should be threated criminally.

I fully understand your point but do not agree with it one bit. Sometimes we see arguments eschewing any use of police force against many such crimes and misdemeanors. "Do you want to go so far as murdering someone who smokes crack?! 'Cause that's just what will happen if the crack smoker refuses to comply with the police: they kill 'im! You want that?! You prepared to do that?! To go that far?!" It's really a non-argument. Smoking crack, as an example, is not an automatic death-by-cop sentence. Everyone is responsible for their own actions, as conservatives believe. Only whiney liberals try to excuse every evil act as the supposed fault of society somehow. By that argument all manner of civil infractions would have to be excused, from jaywalking to littering to any of the misdemeanors and even non-capital felonies.

No those things effect others. Jaywalking impairs the flow of traffic. Littering spoils areas owned by the public. Two sodomites packing fudge effects only the two fudge packers. If God doesn't like them packing fudge He will punish them. (perhaps by giving them AIDS) We shouldn't try to do God's job for Him. We'll just screw it up.

I'll not reveal the questions that expose these answers as it *will* make the rounds and a compensatory response will arise, deceiving the interviewer.
