No, it wouldn't.

You are right, the Lebanese Christians have been ethnically cleansed, the Muslims have either killed them or driven them out, and this has happened to many a country in the world.
Often these were very high quality people: it took a lot of guts to cling on and hold to Christ for all those centuries in the very teeth of Islam. Jesus' message in Rev. 2 to the church at Pergamum applies to them.

No, my info is that Benny Hinn is from the Middle East, but apparently never Jewish by Halakha. He is a Christian now of course, and apparently was never a Muslim either, so I guess that means he was already Christian by birth, whether from S Lebanon or Northern Israel...
There is a prominent Christian evangelist from India, last name Zacharias, 1st name Ravi?? who is supposedly a legally Jewish (Hindu in sense of 1st definition "a native or inhabitant of India") but now Christian evangelist, so that may be who you are thinking of.

Stop involving Israel in more sarcasm statement. It is enough stupidity the media does, let's prove we have intelligence.Err, isn't that the point of sarcasm?
As for intelligence. It would seem I know the definition of sarcasm and you don't.

That would be Lebanon, PA. I like your baloney.I never said Lebanon, Pa. But Mt. Lebanon was near our home.
We'd frequent the Lebanese-American club...they had the best kibbe, grape leaves and lamb. (no baloney)

The cause of the collapse was not immediately known. Gravity, perhaps. I know! It's the American Airlines flight 77! Remember from earlier posts: it never hit the Pentagon! It had to come down somewhere!
Take The Pentagon Boeing Test

May God bless these people..........and especially the victims' families. What a terrible thing...........

Although there is a small element of truth to it, like every good joke, they're simply expressing appreciation and keeping it going. Some people like boiled cabbage and the Cosby Show. Others prefer 5 alarm Texas chili and humor with a sick twist to it. It reduces the impact if you put in some kind of "just kidding" disclaimer.

Prayers for the victims, the families and the rescue workers. A horrible situation for all concerned.

I grew up with alot of Lebanese in my hometown in Penna. They were all Christian. And probably fine people who were driven out by the Muslim fundamentalists. Lebanon was the Paris of the Mideast until the Syrians and the Palestinians tore it apart in battles with the Christians.

On Thursday night, in the Christian northern part of Beirut, we heard some loud noises. "Probably they are celebrating the attacks," someone told us when we asked. You mean the Maronite Christians are also celebrating? I asked. "Yes, they also feel betrayed by the Americans." Taken from:
An article about Beirut's reaction to 9/11
I didn't dance in the street passing Ground Zero on my way to get lunch today, but my step was lighter than usual, that's for sure.

Probably all the innocents left Beirut a long time ago. Now all that's left is this:
BEIRUT--Where were you on Sept. 11, when terrorists changed the world? I was at the National Museum here, enjoying the wonders of the ancient Phoenicians with my husband. This tour of past splendor only magnified the shock I received later when I heard the news and saw the reactions all around me. Walking downtown, I realized that the offspring of this great civilization were celebrating a terrorist outrage. And I am not talking about destitute people. Those who were cheering belonged to the elite of the Paris of Middle East: professionals wearing double-breasted suits, charming blond ladies, pretty teenagers in tailored jeans.
No tears here, 1 block away from GZ. In fact I only wish an American collapsed the building.
