President Bush and First Lady Laura are on their way to Latin America for a four-day trip with visits to Mexico, Peru and El Salvador. In a stop-over in El Paso, TX, Bush spoke to a crowd about increasing security at our nation's borders. He also visited a local customs inspection area. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

You are as pathetic as all of the women who adored Bill Clinton regardless of what he did. Your object of affection can do no wrong. Absolutely Pathetic.
And, I will not take a hike. You telling me to take a hike (when I wasn't being a jerk) is pretty tacky, but then, so are you.

First of all, going back on a campaign promise is bad, but it happens. (he did promise to veto, look at the National Review article posted earlier)
The White House has released a statement saying that President Bush will sign the bill.
Signing a bill that is unconstitutional IS a big deal, and the fact that you're not outraged is pretty sickening. I feel the same way about the first amendment as I do the second. If the first can be eroded, all of them can be eroded.
I guess I should shut up and be a good little politico?

Why don't you have the guts to state your beliefs instead of bashing eveyone else's. You can't make these supporters fall for your Constitutional garbage so you bash good people and a good man. These folks make a good point. W hasn't made a false step yet, and at the first weak moment (maybe ,we don't know yet) you sunshine patriots jump ship like RATS. Convince us why you think the way you do and what should be done and maybe you'll earn some respect here. These folks aren't blind. They just disagree with you. Have the courtesy to debate like a gentleman or lady.

I didn't see the kiss, but I was watching the news this morning and they showed them getting into Air Force One. It was the cutest thing. GW put his hands around Laura's waist and kind of patted her, I think to go into the plane. I was hoping that there were pictures, but I guess not. It was just so sweet!!!

I see that your love for the man is getting in front of your love of country. Let me guess, your kids never do wrong either in your eyes.
This is what you said about us, and I said you were wrong. Now you're calling me pathetic.
You are completely and absolutely wrong about us. Comparing us with xlinton bimbos is not only insulting, it's insane.
There is not the remotest similarity between mature, moral people admiring and respecting an honorable, courageous man and his wife, and the jerks who slobbered all over x42.
You have revealed your total ignorance of what goes on on this thread, and who we are. Please leave us alone.

CFR has a provision in it that states that if a part or parts of the bill are deemed unconstitutional, they can be removed without killing the bill. So your accusation that the President would be knowingly signing an unconstitutional bill doesn't hold water. READ THE BILL before jumping all over people who have different opinions

It was not only sweet, it was a bit risque! His hand was not exactly on her waist......it was a bit lower, and it was adorably reminiscent of that Author's Conference before the Inauguration!
I still say that he has to work hard to not give her little love pats in public because it's so natural to him!

Do you know what is funny? I thought it was a little low too, but I thought maybe I was imagining things. I am glad someone else saw it too. It is obvious how much in love they still are!!!

President Bush does not write legislation and it's the responsibility of Congress and the courts to determine the constitutionality of a bill or piece of legislation.

Just for the heck of it consider this: people on this very thread are saying the Supreme Court may NOT rule it unconstitutional.
Do you think George W. Bush should veto a bill that is constitutional?

An issue to use against him? They've never wanted him as their president, they've never really supported him, and they hate people who do. Heck, half of FR has decided they'll "never vote for him again." I'm just hoping it's the half that isn't even registered to vote and just comes here to b**tch and moan.
To: Batman94
"Well aren't you the martyr, what a brave stance, to be against CFR. What republican isn't.(sic)"Well, the vote was 60 to 40 with two democrats voting against, so why don't you tell me?
"I'm saying why step on your own d*** about this issue that will mean NADA to any of us? This is a non-issue because it is based on McCain's treasonous deal with Democrats and the false heat developed from Media driven Enron mudslinging. To say CFR is bad because you are a Constitutionalist is goofy. Like I said, nobaody complained when W said he wouldn't veto last year."
Who says I didn't say anything then? Maybe some people didn't want to believe that Dubya would do it...especially since he is on record saying he would veto.
"This whole battle is a distraction and to join it is to make the terrorists win, you know, daschle, gephart..."
I put my country ahead of silly political arguments. Sorry if you don't.
"I agree with some of the other Freepers, like the media, you're upset about something that hasn't happened yet."
Good strategy, wait until a bill is signed, and then write the white house and try to change things. Brilliant.
'You and yours are going to put Gore in office over a goofy McCain debacle. Why are we not yelling at him?!?!?!?!?!'
I don't like McCain...It's a given that he is an ass and of course he is wrong on this. For some reason I have President Bush at a higher level of respect and I have higher expectations out of President Bush. As far as giving the election to Gore, I didn't say I wouldn't vote for Dubya again, I am simply disgusted with him for caving in to political pressures and games. In fact, I am a FL voter and I convinced my mother (also a FL voter) to vote for Dubya. I helped him get elected. I also protested at the FL State Capitol for Bush...
