President Bush and First Lady Laura are on their way to Latin America for a four-day trip with visits to Mexico, Peru and El Salvador. In a stop-over in El Paso, TX, Bush spoke to a crowd about increasing security at our nation's borders. He also visited a local customs inspection area. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Enjoyed the sign, thanks for posting it.

but when the person who told me that he would never vote for Bush again because of immigration turns around and posts that he will never vote for him because of CFR, I begin to think the motive is not the issue, but rather the eroding of President Bush's approval ratings. I've noticed the same thing

Well, that was my original thought. Ignore it, and it will go away. But like a pesky itch, it just keeps coming back. Fighting against it now seems futile. Since the rest of FR has spun so low, why not drag down one of the few remaining peaceful threads into the dark abyss of discontent... God forbid anyone be pleased or happy with the job our President is doing.
That's right. The Republican Warrior Princess has become a cynic and a skeptic. And everyone's motives will now be questioned. And sicne it seems to be the standard now to willingly flame away without any regard for tact and civility, the Republican Warrior Princess' mission now seems crystal clear...

Apparently you're the one with Lastworditis.

Laura looks a bit piqued today, or out of sorts. At any rate, she's not her usual sparkling self. Hope things are better tomorrow.

So why do you rally around a President sworn to uphold our Constitution while he spits on it, making the USSC create decisions that are political in nature?
To: rintense
Good night all, Thanks for your relentless efforts RWP, Don't let the comments of those here on FR that always look at the glass as half empty discourage you.
There must have been a full moon or maybe a newly discovered Comet in the sky tonight, somethings up! :-)

The Republican Warrior Princess has become a cynic and a skeptic. Hunker down for a couple weeks, Princess. They will need to vent until the bill is signed and out of the news cycle.
Hang in there and don't let the B's grind you down. We need you; we appreciate you; we love you!!!
And this, too, shall pass.

I used to take the high road, but, frankly, I'm tired of altitude sickness~ Republican Warrior Princess

Why do you enjoy Truman's presidency? Afterall, he was a Democrat. In his autobiography, An American Life, Ronald Reagan said he believed that if Truman had lived longer, he would have switched from Democrat to Republican, like Reagan did.

But they have you! There's hope!

Agreed!

Let's confound them. Keep taking the high road. You're my only Princess.

Plus he doesn't seem to me to understand that President Bush is not playing politics the same old way. We do not need a Newt Gingrich right now.
We need a Churchill with a splash of Truman....which is what we have.
Beautifully put! I couldn't agree with you more.
To: Buckeroo
Are you that out of touch, Buck; we have a separation of branches here; Bush cannot decide a law is constitutional or not; that's the job of the SC; even if he doesn't sign it, the bill becomes law in 10 days. The Congress passes laws, and Bush either signs them or not. Would you prefer that Bush sign a bill that may turn out to be constitutional? Don't answer that -- I already know what you think about laws.
Spitting? You wish.

Thank you for posting the wonderful photos of our beloved President GWB and his lovely wife. I check the Dose every night, but I haven't thanked you lately. I think tonight you may "need a hug". Keep up the great Daily Dose, we need you more than you know and so does our President. Thanks again and have a good night.
To: Howlin
Let them have the last word. After they've all left, I'll post a lovely picture of Bush and his Inaugural Address or some such lovely thing to sign coda to tonight. I'm always up late.

True! It's much easier to shoot off your big mouth than to have to compromise and work with the opposition. It would be a lot easier if the Presidency was a dictatorship but it's not!

I'm staying....Ok, I've not read all of the thread, but gosh....I DO hope you're a medical person. I've been having a HORRIBLE time with hot flashes lately. And throwing up???!!!! Man, I don't know what to do. Are the hot flashes causing the stomach to be upset or the other way around? Thanks so much for answering. BTW, I'm not "that" old yet.....
