Ted Maher -- former Special Forces; Neonatal Intensive Care nurse
American Green Beret veteran and accomplished neonatal nurse Ted Maher has now been held 537 days without trial in Monaco's prison on trumped-up and false charges -- charges of causing the deaths of billionaire banker Edmond Safra and Ted's fellow nurse, Vivian Torrente on December 3, 1999. In truth, Ted fought valiantly against two armed, masked intruders to defend Edmond and Vivian and save their lives. During the struggle, Ted suffered severe knife wounds that required one hundred staples to close.
Billionaire banker Edmond Safra was cooperating with the FBI, who was investigating the IMF/Russian loans. Needing a convenient scapegoat for the murder of Safra, Monaco police subjected Ted to three days of grueling torture designed to extort a false confession from him. (see description in "BASIC TIMELINE" in Thread 1 - http://206.112.97.70/forum/a3ad8b097272d.htm ).
Monaco continues to hold Ted incommunicado, preventing him from sending or receiving mail. In fact, they restrict his communication with his family to one telephone call a week. This call is only allowed to last a few minutes and is always monitored closely to prevent any discussion of the case. Ted is forced by his jailers to take a psychotropic medication and is regularly "interrogated" by the Monaco judge -- Patricia Richet. Reports have been received that Judge Richet is a violent person who has displayed unstable behavior in the past. She allegedly has a history of assaulting a fellow judge, putting him in the hospital for a week. She also tears up letters from Ted's children in front of Ted rather than let him read them.
Hundreds of family, friends, work associates, parents of patients, and Army veterans who served with Ted have vouched for him as being a loyal husband, loving father, and an exemplary professional of great skill and compassion. Ted has also been defended by then-chairman of the House International Relations Committee Ben Gilman and Ted's congresswoman Sue Kelly, who have written Prince Rainier III of Monaco on Ted's behalf. Monaco has no evidence of any crime by Ted; they have no witnesses and no credible case against him. Even worse, Monaco has planted false evidence and suppressed vast amounts of exculpatory evidence -- even passing a special Monaco law that enables them to hold Ted four years without trial.
The Geneva prosecutor has said that Safra was killed for his cooperation with the FBI regarding the laundering through Safra's Republic National Bank of $4.8 billion in IMF loans to Russia.
Regardless of the reason "why," it is obvious that Ted Maher is a scapegoat for a murder by others. We are working to obtain his release and to correct the grave injustice being done to an American Green beret veteran and medical professional.
Ted Maher -- a giver of life, not a taker -- needs our help.

Monaco has imprisoned Stephen Troth the former head of Republic Bank in Monaco.
Stephen Troth has been charged with unlawfully withdrawing sums from numerous celebrity accounts with Republic Bank in Monaco.
Stephen Troth supposedly "confessed"--yet we have it on good authority that this is another false confession.
More likely is that Stephen Troth is being scapegoated for the crimes of others.
In New York, Martin Armstrong has been imprisoned for 32 months--ostensibly the perpetrator of hundreds of millions in security fraud.
What is clear is that Republic Securities, subsidiary of Republic Bank, admitted to wrongdoing and paid something on the order of six hundred million.
Why then is Martin Armstrong still held? He is the designated scapegoat.
In Martin Armstrong's case, the judge appointed his former clerk to divest Armstrong of all his assets--including what he'd paid his attorney.
Martin Armstrong was then charged (frivolously) with contempt and is being held indefinitely--broke, gagged, isolated.
There seems to be something about Republic--in the eighties it was the charge of laundering for the Contras.
The Republic attorney then is Lily's now, Stanley Arkin.
He was also the attorney for Natasha Kagalovsky, whose husband Konstantin headed Russia's giant Menatep Bank.
Arkin defended Natasha against money-laundering charges in the Bank of New York (BONY) scandal.
Russians, money laundering and Republic--it's the eternal triangle.
And when Edmond tried to clean up what he'd discovered--voila: he daid.
Ted tried to protect Edmond--shazaam: three years in the hole with an option on life.

By now you've seen that U.S. Navy Lt. Jack Daly has been beaten in court by Russians backed by the U.S. Navy.
In 1997, Lt. Daly was tracking the Russian spy ship Kapitan Man as it lay off our boomer base in Washington.
Lt. Daly was lased from the Russian ship's bridge, shown on digital photos taken from the helicopter he was riding.
Clinton's Strobe Talbott gave the Russian crew heads up to hide or throw its laser overboard, thus it was not found in our search.
For five years Lt. Daly has fought our own Navy and the Russians for damages--his sight is ruined, he suffers constant pain, his career is over.
Lt. Daly was beaten in court by U.S. lawyers defending the Russians with the aid our own Navy.
Now we have a U.S. Army Green Beret veteran wrongly held in a foreign prison--gagged three years after they extorted a false confession.
Ted's congresswoman Sue Kelly in conjunction with House International Relations Committee and Senate Foreign Relations Committee wrote Powell.
Ted's trial is coming up next week.
So far, his Monaco-paid pre-tend de-fenders have done nothing on Ted's behalf.
As the lying Monaco prosecutor Serdet has had free run to smear.
We've gone over the drug lie--Ted's clean. Further there is the lidocaine lie.
The planted lidocaine was sealed and labelled in French.
Ted wanted it checked for prints and paper trail--confident he'd be exonnerated.
For Monaco's bums, easy: just don't investigate--just lie.
So another U.S. citizen stands in danger of being victimized by a foreign power.
Dunne will be there, as will 48 Hours. Dunne will be faithful; CBS, we will be watching.

I have responded to a website owner with a cable show in a major metro center with more info on Ted Maher.
The investigator has been active for decades and will archive Ted data and do a television show on the case.
Dominick Dunne will be in Monaco in the courtroom observing the proceedings.
The network newsmagazine mentioned above will be in Monaco as well.
DatelineNBC did an hour titled "Who Killed the Billionaire?" November 21, 2000.
That program offered several insights of note: the hospital tox coming up negatif negatif negatif;
Israeli journalist Boaz Bismuth told NBC's Sara James that "it was the lady [Lily] who did not want them [Edmond's mossad-trained security team of eleven men] around";
Yet Dateline removed the transcript from its website almost immediately--claiming lack of interest.
The billions behind the coverup have dictated the media coverage.
John Springer of CourtTV was given English-language translations of Monaco documents when U.S. Congressmen and our State Department were struggling with French versions;
Springer's purple prose slandering Ted Maher no doubt figures in the arrangement.
Bottom line: The major conflagration was independent of Ted's candle signal to summon rescue personnel;
Monaco's official fire report places the time of that major conflagration at 6 a.m.--a full hour after Ted was rushed to Princess Grace Memorial for life-saving surgery;
The official fire report notes multiple sources of ignition to which even with three days of beating and threats Monaco police failed to elicit a false confession;
Only by three years of muzzling Ted, blocking all his mail and calls and visitors, manufacturing statements and evidence, has Monaco kept him in prison;
Why did Lily disconnect the burglar alarm July 1, 1999?
Why did Lily send the eleven-man security team away?
Why did Lily change Edmond's will to her benefit at the last minute?
Why did Lily change their citizenship to Monagasque effective the day of Edmond's death?
Why did Lily cremate Edmond and go through the charade of a funeral with coffin in Switzerland--when he wanted to be buried in Israel?
Why did Lily try to bar Edmond's family from that sham "funeral"?
Why were Ted and Vivian pencilled into the schedule at the last minute?
Why did Monaco kidnap Heidi and her brother and steal their U.S. Passports to use them to threaten Ted?
Why did Monaco threaten the couple's children to extort Ted's signature on the police prepared false confession in French--which Ted does not read, write or speak?
Why did Monaco judge Patricia Richet scream at Ted, "I know you will be found guilty!" as she tore up letters from his children?
Why did judge Richet attack judge Hullin putting him in the hospital for a week [witness names and numbers on file]?
Profonde Gorge says Richet got her unprecedented reappointment to another term "because she is obedient to the police"--now why did PG say that?
Monaco, a police state where U.S. citizens are kidnapped, jailed, threatened, muzzled, slandered--
