P.O.D.My 11 year old wanted their album, so I looked up the lyrics. Turns out, they started in the business as a Christian rap group. Their lyrics are actually very nice, if you can get past all the rapping.

Supertones -- they're an overtly Christain rap/post-ska group.
Love them, myself.

Some people say it means the devil got my soul
but that's a bunch of sh@t - I just want to rock and roll!
I don't want to hang up my rock and roll shoes
I don't want to hand up my rock and roll shoes
I get that old time feeling every time I sing the blues.
Chuck Willis, "(I Don't Want To) Hang Up My Rock and Roll Shoes," as performed by The Band during a New Year's Eve concert, 1971-72, which was released in due course as Rock of Ages.
The harrowing part: When Chuck Willis originally released "(I Don't Want To) Hang Up My Rock and Roll Shoes" on the flip side of "What Am I Living For?", he would be dead himself of complications from peritonitis and didn't live to see both sides of the record become the final hits of his short but excellent career.

CULTURE CLUB boy george is very conservative

There's probably a lot more than you'd think, but in the entertainment world of leftist politics, they just keep it "in the closet". Kinda like Rock Hudson kept his light-in-the-loaferness in the closest for years (of course, now it would be celebrated).

There was a thread last year in the spring called something like Rockers for Life. It doesn't seem to be in the archives any more, but maybe I have the title wrong.

Creed and P.O.D
My teenage son listens to both and they "rock" ( I especially love Creed's music, lyrics and Scott Stapps voice ).
Creed is NOT a Christian band. Stapp's father was a minister and he has had a Christian upbringing but left home because of the strictness of his parents and their religion. I do believe, from listening to his lyrics, that he is "searching" for something missing in his life. They are conservative in their lyrics which I believe reflects their personal attitudes.
P.O.D.'s "Alive" is not a love song about a man and woman but rather about the relationship with Jesus although many relate it to that of man and woman ( listen to the lyrics and read about the band's faith ). "Youth of the Nation" is a wonderful, but sad, song about the situation of our youth. They are very conservative as well.
All of this from my 15 yo son the music expert. :)

Queensryche, Riot, Savatage, the new Judas Priest cd has some very anti NWO lyrics. Check out Queensryche, especially "operation mindcrime" which reads like a black ops subterfuge operation. Lots of political intrigue.

Well, Beethoven was a small "r" republican and he was the first punk rocker.

I meant to add, Gene Simmons has been impressing me lately with his outspokenness, and non-politically correct speech. Don't know if he is a conservative, but I'll give him credit for calling it like it is.

I wouldn't label Guns N Roses as conservative. But their song "One in a million" appeals to many.
Not all of us agree what is a conservative. I don't consider, for example, environment & pro-life as either conservative or liberal issues.
