What I can't understand: why did the New Yorkers ever put another Clintoon in office even after Bubba Clintoon repeatedly disgraced himself and the democrazies still supported the obnoxious idiot?

The New Yorkers are the same bunch of loonies who retire and move to FloridahHow many of them voted in person in FL and absentee in NY? They just had to vote against George W. Bush and for HC. What a quandary.
To: scott91
I would agree , especially considering the last bunch we had in there .

Because a little is better than NONE. That's why. There was ENOUGH improvement there, to make a difference. NOT what President Bush WANTED, BUT, it was better than the status quo. WHAT about that, don't you understand? WHO did you vote for? WHO is YOUR congressman? How many letters did you write, etc? HOW much money to you give to this site?
To: Joe 6-pack
The pic of Bush with that dog is my favorite ever,,it just makes me almost cry. I love that pic,,thanks for posting it!!

The stakes are so high for this country after the last eight years. I think that calls for an understanding that no president is going to do everything you personally want. I for one agree with the alien bill. And if he, Pres. Bush, gets torn up by supporters everytime he does something they aren't in favor of, well, we don't deserve him. He is the best president in years, he is a good man, he is fightiing a good war, he is bringing this country back to what it values and what is good. Get a grip and quit beating up on him.

Which items in the domestic agenda do you mean?
The second half of his State of the Union Address, all of the big government programs, the education bill, fetal stem cell research (he got suckered), airport security, his failure to take many necessary steps to secure our borders, his ongoing attempts at amnesties for illegals by other names.
On the positive side is the Tax Cut and his efforts to privatize some aspects of Social Security (huge kudos). Also chucking some of Clinton's last minute enviro regs, trying to open up Alaskan oil, hammering the Dems on judicial appointments (though I'd have liked to seen it come sooner.
Those are off the top of my head, and not an exhaustive list.

So higher paid slobs who now are protected by Federal work laws are an improvement over the same low paid but easily fired slobs? Me thinks you should stop drinknig the kool-aid. While I really respect President Bush, and to answer your irrelevent question yes I did vote for him, I, unlike you and Demorats, don't excuse his screw ups when they happen.
