Hillary Closes In on Gore

Better a shrew than a loser? Hillary Clinton has gained significantly on Al Gore in the race for the Democrats’ 2004 presidential nomination, according to a new Zogby America poll.

Gore is still the top choice among likely Democrat voters at 27 percent, with Sen. Clinton close behind at 22 percent. In August, Gore led the "New Yorker” 40 percent to 24 percent.

Thirty-eight percent said Gore deserved the nomination after failing in 2000; 42 percent said it was time for someone new.

Trailing far behind are Senate plurality leader Tom Daschle at 8 percent, and House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt and former Sen. Bill Bradley of New Jersey at 7 percent each. With 3 percent or less: Sen. John Kerry of Taxachusetts, Sen. Joseph "Plagiarism” Biden of Delaware, former Nebraska Gov. Bob Kerrey, Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana and Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina.

The poll of 414 likely Democrat voters nationwide was conducted from Friday to Sunday. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 5 percent.

Good.
Unless things change drastically Bush would wax the floor against either one of these oh-so-tired faces.

"414 likely Democrat voters"

It would be great if that was all there were.

Sadly for our Republic, there are many more.

Hopefully, there are not enough.

FRegards...

I doubt that either of these two will get the nomination, but would I love to watch them duke it out!

Both hate the 85% Bush. Hillary held-up Bush's $21 billion stimulus package for NY by backing Dashole. Why would NY, Bush and Mayor G's state support her, let alone America?

hillary is going to run for President in '04.
She will, as she did when she ran for the Senate seat in N.Y., wait until the last minute to declare her candacy at a friendly surrounding such as a n.o.w. convention.
She will run her campaign as she ran her Senatorial campaign; she will never be asked a tough question by the media and should her opponent ask her a tough question they will be portrayed as attacking a defenceless woman as was done with Lazio.

There will be voter fraud to an extent never seen in the world previous to this.

She will get 90% of the Black vote,98% of the homosexual vote, 97%of the women vote.

Those who underestimate hillary do so at their own peril.

Only the intervention of Almighty God will prevent hillary from becoming resident.

As for al gore, he does as hillary says because she has his fbi file in her computer(s).

Maybe Gore/Clinton?

The ticket's bound to lose, sending Gore back to the dustbin of history, this time for good.

Meantime, Clinton gets credibility and gravitas for the REAL campaign, in '08.

We will see this slogan in the next Presidential election, "Bring back Clinton peace and prosperity. Vote Hillary Clinton for President in 2004!"

I was excepting those women on Free Republic.

During the impeachment hearings I was telling a woman what hillry was like.
Her response was, "You just don't like her because she is a strong woman".Or as another woman put it, "She would fight for women's issues". Add that to her being, "for the children" and the numbers climb.

Unfortunately, that is the mindset of the soccer moms and the college crowd. Also included are the followers of Opra Winfrey, Rosie O'Donnell, etal.

Only the women on this forum, as a group, would not vote for her.

I not only like the gals, I love the gals.
I am married to a lovely woman.

In fact, I had rather love one woman than fight two men.

Will she answer questions? Be available to all the media? Discuss her accomplishments? Speak of the previous administration? Tell us what her stand is on the terrorist war? How she feels about PETA killing that deer?...

But Gee whiz........don't these silly Dems know that Hillary isn't running for President?
Gosh, all she wants to do is be the best Junior Senator from New York that she can possibly be!
Does this mean they don't believe her, or are they just trying to recuit her so she will have to run? :>)

Well, I hate to say this, but I agree with you. It terrifies me, but with all of the votes she gets easily, and the massive fraud the libs are notorious for, (and excellent at) I can't disagree with your predictions.
God help us!
