I removed her phone #s, but I will give them to any who FReep-mail me.
I received a few e-mails from her regaurding the American Red Cross.
I tried to register yesterday (at FReeRepublic), but for some reason, I never received the confirmation to activate it. So if you could post the news release, that would be great. I also have the OCR and the WND articles I will paste in. I just don't want people asking questions and not knowing where to get the answers. I'm trying to get this on as much radio and TV nationally as possible in the next two days before the issue loses momentum. Thanks for your help.

I hope they get freeped - but good! For victory & freedom!!!

Amazing. I would suggest they change their name to simply "The Red Cross". Including America in the name of an organization that would do something like this is atrocious.

I believe this is the same organization that tried to keep most of the money donated to and for the families of 9/11 victims. I think I've made my last donation to them.

And for heaven's sake, don't offend them by sending them any money that has "In God we Trust" on it.

Why not encourage those who attend the event to sing the song "spontaneously". Provide the words to all who enter

I think the audience should stand up and sing those songs at the event. That'll show them -- you can't stop real Americans.

The American Red Cross cannot offend anyone. The words prayer and God are religious words and will offend some. The Declaration of Independence is a political document that also may offend. These songs violate the a-political and a-religious policy of the organization, said Patricia Johnson, representative for the American Red Cross in Orange County.
Well isn't that precious.
The donated dollars have "In God We Trust" printed on them. I don't see them banning contributions.

What about the people that are offended over the removal of such words and symbols? Or are they just more concerned about which groups they're offending?

Ask these bozos why they are affiliated with the Red Crescent, an OBVIOUSLY religious symbol. They can weasel around and try to claim a cross that looks more like a plus sign than a cross is not religious, but they can't claim the crescent is non-religious.

My two cents to dear Patricia:
The American Red Cross cannot offend anyone. The words prayer and God are religious words and will offend some. The Declaration of Independence is a political document that also may offend. These songs violate the a-political and a-religious policy of the organization, said Patricia Johnson, representative for the American Red Cross in Orange County.
Do you have any idea what damage you are doing to your organization? Why don't you just take the word "American" out of your title, since you obviously do not know where your money and support come from, and neither do you have a sense of how the Red Cross was founded in the first place.
I have personally given gallons of blood to the Red Cross during my life and have also contributed a lot of money, before and after 9/11. I will no longer do either, until the "American" is put back in to the Red Cross in spirit and in deed.
You ought to be ashamed. And this e-mail will also be sent to the National chapter.
