A student group bows out of a Red Cross show rather than drop 'god' and 'prayer' from their songs.

SANTA ANA -- A student group will not sing at a Red Cross event Sunday because the troupe's director says the charity barred the use of the words "god" and "prayer."

Still accepting entries for slogans to put on your placards? Here's mine:

Putting the Red back into Red Cross.

Well, I never claimed to be a genius...

P.S. On a related note, anyone following these reports about illegal immigrants using the Channel Tunnel to enter England will remember that one of the complaints the Brits had was the Red Cross camp being operated on the French border, which the immigrants seem to be using as a jumping-off point. It's interesting that they refuse to shut it down or move it.

I see the traitors in our country are continuing their little war on words in our country. They are really a ignorant, stupid bunch.

An hour, I think. 405 south, when you come to the OC Airport, start looking for Jamboree (next offramp after MacArthur), you can see the Hyatt from the freeway offramp easily. Go left at the end of the offramp, turn right on Main Street and left into parking at Souplantation. Eagles Up!

Anyone out there want to produce a video tape? Get these kids, and their medley of songs with the 'G' word, on tape! I hear they are GREAT! Does anyone know a producer at FOX? Bill O'Reilly could use it for a story and continuing bumper music.

It's a beautiful morning, in America the Beautiful. I hope to meet lots of Freepers on the corner of Jamboree and Main!

Henry Dunant, founder of the red cross, worked with groups that sought to draw young men of all nations into a Christian union.

He was influential in the founding of the international YMCA,(Young Mens Christian Association) which had its first meeting in Paris in 1855.

At other periods he was interested in projects for the bringing together of Christians and Jews, for the founding of Jewish settlement in Palestine, and for promoting international peace.

Dunant was brought up a Protestant and was early led toward piety and good works, in which the example of his mother was particularly strong.

"I Am disciple of Christ, as in the first century, simply that," he wrote.

FREEP ON and give us a report, please!! If I were anywhere near Orange County, I'd be there!! Those anti American creeps should be held accountable. If I were a ticket holder to that event, I'd tell the Red Cross to shove it and give me my money back. All who attend are anti American traitors. For victory & freedom!!!

The Red (Double) Cross has seen the last nickel of my hereafter closed wallet and the last blood donation from my body. The continuing crap and arrogance coming from this "charitable" organization is outrageous!

Bummer. I just got back on line and wasn't aware this going on right in my own community. BobJ and diotima were over at my place this weekend for a little strategy planning. Can't believe we were all right here and didn't know.

Hope your rally is well noticed and thank you so much for standing in for the OC Chapter. I'll give the school a call, at least. Regards.
