It seems to me that the soldier who fell out of the copter was captured by the enemy was then a Prisoner Of War. Therefore, he was not killed in combat, but executed as a prisoner. I've checked the newswires, and have yet to see the press release from Ramsey Clark about the mistreatment of prisoners.

So you think that just because one of our guys got shot and killed, presumably after surrendering but maybe after engaging the enemy, we should today shoot all the captives in Gitmo?
We should have shot all those pigs at Gitmo before they ever arrived at Gitmo.
To: GussiedUp
I agree, we should have killed them on the battlefield. Why we are using Psyops to get them to surrender - I'll never know. I would not be proactively seeking surrender from the scumbags........and I also think the best thing that can happen to Taliban Johnny, is that he get life and stay in prison where he is safe.

lol he may not be too safe in prison - I hear they have to keep him separate from other prisioners right now because they happen to be patriotic as well and there is a fear that the little sea monkey might get what he truly deserves - ripped to shreds!

Should be an easy task, unless you are lying...
Peep, this is the same M.O. you pulled on those threads where you advocated taking organs (livers) from people unwilling to be donors then started calling everyone who jumped you "liars" as well. You are nothing if not transparent as glass and a card-carrying member of the DNC, if not the Communist Party as well.
Since you're here, I am assuming it's a slow day in the organ snatching business. You're definitely cut from Da$$hole's cloth.
To: GussiedUp
I agree it would have been better if we wiped them all out over in Talibanland, but the fact is we didn't. Now unfortunately we have to feed them and keep them locked up until their fate can be determined. I would hope the guards have shoot to kill orders if any try to escape or injur our guys.

There could be an accident which tragically kills them all.

You called me a liberal and accused me of supporting Daschle. Can you back up your accusation or are you lying?
Your own words show you for the anti-American liberal that you are. Unfortunately for you, people can still read.
Da$$hole is endangering the troops when he publically, and on a worldwide basis via media, breaks ranks with the CIC of the troops, our President. This sends the wrong message to the world and endangers our troops' lives by emboldening our enemies. Anyone (you) who is pro-Da$$hole is therefor anti-troops and anti-American.
You haven't changed, Peep, but you're consistent at least. Shame on you.

Questioning the foreign policy strategy of the president does not mean that Daschle want our men and women to die for political gain
You're joking right? Daschle would be doing cartwheels if American soldiers started coming back in body bags as he would have some political ammunition.
Wake up!

Why the helo and crew did not attempt a rescue....the moment they realized a crew menber fell out of the chopper ?????... It just seems to me...and I'm not trying to start some s$$t. ......but I cannot just see the chopper flying away and leaving one of it's men on the ground ??????
The pilot had to get that chopper out of firing range. He had a whole chopper full of men to consider and was under fire. Hard decision but it had to be made. He made the right decision.

Damn straight on how few rag pow's we take from here on. Bet there are quite a few in the chain of command who consider Jihad Johnnie and the Gitmo pow's tactical mistakes. Payback is a bitch!

It's understandable to be outraged, but are you a savage? Will you pull the trigger yourself? Go HERE to see how I feel about this topic. Bypass the introduction and go directly to the "Al-Qaida Cam"... check out today's video and those saved from previous dates.

....any member of Congress that criticizes the president during a time of war is un-American....
Yes, any member of Congress who openly and repeatedly criticizes a sitting President when American troops are under fire and dying is un-American. The Democrats keep looking for any crack or fissure for political advantage during this time without much regard for those young men and women who are in harm's way. You might want to spend more of your energy in that direction.

I say we return the favor 300 times over down in Gitmo. That's inhumane overkill. I suggest we take ten of the biggest Gitmo Guests, dress them in pigskin, tie their hands and feet, and push them out of a high-altitude helicopter where the execution took place.

(Sound of pin dropping.)Would that be a european manufactured, imported, Steel Pin, thats had a tariff imposed on it?

Oh I missed this comment: "but you liberals"
Labeling is a weak argument tactic especially when you are wrong. I've been around here a whole lot longer than you have. You should do a little research about who I am before incorrectly labeling me a liberal.
