The 20th century had 100 million people killed in wars and in other government related killing. Many of these millions were killed merely for being Christian or Jewish. Too many US Christians talk about the coming Persecuation of Christians and don't see these people as martyrs since they are non white, non English speaking, and often Catholic or Orthodox christians, not good evangelicals (Although many Baptists and evangelicals were and are being persecuted in many countries).
Doom on the moon idolizing sand monkeys if we ever decide to give them the "Holy War" they keep beggin for in their crazed rants. Holy WW-III would be just fine with me.
The Word says when a prophet is wrong---if what he specifically prophesies does not come to pass---you should not follow him any more. That doesn't mean you should "dis" him, because God will do that. But I quit listening to Hal some time ago.
It is also worth pointing out than in several places a PRECONDITION to the return of Jesus is that we "should all come into the unity of the faith" and I don't see much unity out there. Indeed, every time anyone MOVES toward unity, the CFR/New World Order people rise up.
There is also the prophecy that says that Jesus would sit at the right hand of the Father "until your enemies are made Your footstool." Well, if Jesus is in heaven, then the ONLY way the enemies can be made His footstool is by us---His BODY---on earth, and there are too many defeated, un-victorious, whining Christians still here, including many on this board who WANT to be whipped, defeated, and poor. So I believe we have a long way to go yet, although there is no doubt that JESUS IS COMING.
