I think it's all the publicity...
Not likely, unless they are forced to.

FREEPORT Tracking dogs on Monday led police to an abandoned home where officials believe an abductor sexually assaulted a 5-year-old girl.
Police Chief Henrietta Gonzalez said the girl was released from Texas Childrens Hospital on Sunday. She was recovering with her parents Monday. Police still intend to interview the girl in hopes she may lead them to a suspect.
She has not been in a state of mind to tell us anything, Gonzalez said. We are using other professionals who know how to talk to children to help us with a lead. Thats what we are counting on.
On Monday, police used a dog from the Lake Jackson Police Department to track the path the girl and her abductor took after she was kidnapped.
Gonzalez said the girls father woke up about 1:25 a.m. and noticed his daughter was missing from their home in the 800 block of West Fifth Street. He called police, and a few minutes later they found the girl in an alley in the 600 block, between West Sixth and West Seventh streets.
Police were searching the streets of the neighborhood, calling out the girls name, when she emerged from the alley, Gonzalez said.
The door of the girls home was unlocked and someone entered it and took the girl. The abductor took her to an abandoned home in the 600 block of West Sixth Street where she was sexually assaulted, Gonzalez said.
The girl had bruises and was taken to Brazosport Memorial Hospital where tests revealed she had been sexually assaulted, Gonzalez said.
Gonzalez declined to comment further because the case still is under investigation.
It works for me.
We all get that inspiration at some time during parenthood!
