I know just how he feels.

It was obvious to me that Dog Gone had put in at least two minutes in composing that thread, and by my watch it lasted about 180 seconds before it was unceremoniously deleted.

People were enthusiastic about that thread. Many people couldn't wait to register their predictions about how long it would last before it was deleted, while others were delving into the complex thought processes that dogs must have in deciding to cheat on their masters.

It's a shame. A crying shame.

It does seem unbelievable that such a vital topic was deemed unworthy of discussion here at Free Republic. Dog Gone often provoked stimulating thought and discussion. Why, just recently, he reminded everyone of the proper scientific name for fossilized dinosaur poop.

We can only hope that he will see fit to return and again share his valuable insights with the rest of us.
