"We're a completely fictional, nonpolitical show..." Did you ever notice that Clinton supporters lie with the same mind-boggling self-assurance as Clinton?

I am a with you as I have never watched "left wing" either. I think Martin Sheen should do fundraisers in Pakistan.

...those who pride themselves on there intelligence.Al Gore could have done wrote this even betterer.
Their = possessive, as in "The Sorkins of the world are not in their right minds.
They're = Contraction of "they are", as in "They're a bunch of loonie democraps."
There = over yonder, as in "They're so far left, their minds are way over there."

"I cannot believe that some of my friends actually believe that Martin Sheen is/would be a great president."
The only reason to have idiot friends like that is the fact that you are the smartest person on earth, in comparison to any brain dead supporter of Martin Sheen.

I'm probably one of the few. I've never watched West Wing. I loathe Martin Sheen and his offspring.
Count me in as one who has never watched it and never will.

I don't know what a sorkin is.Maybe the back side of a merkin.
To: Azura2
No matter what you think of the man, him and bubba are incredibly intelligent and Gore holding back how smart he was is a disgrace to all of those who pride themselves on there intelligence. Are you and bubba pride yourself on spelling and grammar?

Sorkin's right, but his show still stinks.

President Josiah Bartlet [played by actor Martin Sheen, who has called Bush a white knuckled drunk] is up for re-election this November.Martin Sheen ought to take a long look at his son, Charlie, whose sole claim to fame is doing more drugs and prostitutes than Clinton! Just because "white knuckle drunks" spring from his loins and lack of fatherhood, clearly shows that he couldn't recognize one right under his own nose, in his own house, much less alleged similar failings in a person he hasn't even met!!I think playing Presidents in movies has gone to his vacuous head! He should try some of Sorkin's 'shrooms and calm down!!

I am happy to say I've never watched the West Wing and this just proves how blatant the hatred is for our President by those yahoos in Hollyweird. Who cares what show they try to put over on us? The answer is one click on your TV/remote and you don't have to watch it!

I actually read that whole link (#12) and rarely have I seen a better example of pure Lefty idiocy...Ignorance is Bliss fer Lib'rals, but the grownups need to deal with reality!!

Intelligence?
Who cares how smart Gore is. He would be a lousy president for the mere fact that in the campaign he showed that he did not follow the rules - that the rules applied to others but not him. In addition he showed that he put himself and Leiberman as the top priority and all else followed. He also revealed that he would not be trusted in control of our nuclear weapons because he was willing to go to any length to get what HE wanted.
Gore is dangerous because all he really cares about is Gore and his goal of being president. He does not care about what is good for the American people or the country.
In addition, his policies are ridiculous. Do away with the engine, the environment above all else. We would be a socialistic nation under Gore because Gore has no principles - it is all based on getting what Gore wants. Frankly, I don't care what Gore wants.

Pretending I'm Conservative? Again, you gotta be kidding me. That's a good one, someone accusing me of not being conservative.
Here are my attitudes on Clinton and Gore.
Clinton: He was proberly the 5th or 6th smartest President in history. Because of his intelligence, I don't believe he actually buys in to liberalism. I believe that at a very young age he wanted to be President (this was the 60's) and decided that the Democratic party was the best vehicle to do that. I bet you he goes out and gives policy speeches on far-left ideals then goes in the back and have's a good laugh thinking 'I can't believe they actually buy this crap'. On personal and moral issues he is detestable.
Gore: Like Clinton he is very smart and has done *everything* since he was 18 to become President. He listens way too much to the Democratic 'advisors' and 'strategists' which makes him look uncomfortable in his shoes. Remember at one time he was pro-life, pro-across the tax cuts and pro gulf war. He changed once he got onboard with Clinton.
