So whenever I buy a conservative book or any book from Amazon.com, I send a copy of the order to the two left wing owned or managed book stores in my area. There used to be 3 and now there are two. The independent is in shaky financial shape, and the rent has gone up very high on the corporate store.
One of these left wing idiots asked me what I would do when there were no book stores here. I laughed and said "Whats the down side, here!" I will continue to get my purchased books from Amazon.com and other books.com and go to the library for my other books when the liberal book stores pull an Enron!
I call this guy an idiot as he will never change and say, "I will carry the books you want and match Amazon's price." Lefties are so arrogant and unused to competition, that they are becoming a vanishing specie.
... but it is fiction.
In 1940 the fiction and nightmare of the mid-late 1930's came to life as Germany, Russia and Japan ruled all of Europe (except the British Isles) North Africa, and the greater part of Asia. Who'd a thunk it?
Anyhow, it is a story of a resulting World War as those Islamic and Asian nations try and "consolidate" their influence.

I've gotten so much good feedback and am now well into the second book in the series and hoping to get it published by the end of May.

My first book from Amazon.com was Dr Lott's book. I bought 2. One for me and one for a friend who owned a gun store. He tried to get his local book store to order 24 and they played all types of games and no books ever arrived.
He had them delivered from Amazon.com with 2-3 days. Everytime he re orders Lott's book, 24 at a crack, he sends a copy of the order to his local left wing maggot book store. This idiot still refuses to order Lott's books for my friend. Of course now my friend would not take them for at a huge discount from this lunatic. The lunatic is in real financial trouble.
The best weapon we have besides the internet is how we use our $'s, and then letting the lefties know that we are not spending money with them via the copy of receipts/orders from Amazon.com. or whoever our source is.
When about 30% of us really learn how to use our $'s as weapons in our Cultural war and the lefties realize it, we will make massive changes in our culture. Until then, they will continue to work 24/7 pushing their agendas financed in large by lazy conservatives buying from them.
It's hard to be impressed with people who think they're so smart but do things this stupid.
I had a similar experience to yours some time back when I was looking for the book "How I Accidentally joined the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy." The bookstore owner pushed up his liberal nose and said "no, he didn't carry that type of book," and I congratulated him on being so successful he didn't need to provide books to almost 60% of the people in our area. There was not a touch of sarcasm in my voice, and he was forced to say "thank you" even though it was obvious his store was struggling. Nice guy, but as brain dead as Dan Rather or CNN... What fools.
Spot on. They take our money in the market place and via taxes of all sorts ... and then turn around and use it to help destroy all we cherish.
We could defund Red China any time we choose ... up until they get a hammer lock on many of the resources our own companies have discovered and exploited in their region of the world.
BTW ... I have a couple of friends selling this book at gun shows now and one who owns a Karate studio here locally selling it too. Do you think your Gun Store friend would have any interests?

This guy you posted about, was not nice. He is the typical arrogant lefty from the top management of CNN to Dan Rather to the lefties in the book stores.
They are so arrogant and stupid, that they will push their leftist agendas in these bookstores rather than service what customers want to read. They still think that they can control what is read by us and heard by us. Even when we mail them copies of the receipts of books purchased from Amazon.com, they still think that they have the power and control they had up to a few years ago over the selection and purchase of books!
I used to have a lot of fun with these people when they refused to carry Thomas Sowell's books. I would call them racists in a loud voice and then ask them if they burnt crosses in black writers yards. Then leave the store as they stood there with customers watching and listening!
Probably the biggest book that he has read since he dropped out of college, was John Lott's book unless the book was on a gun.
So my friend would not be a candidate to sell your book. He actually gives away Lott's book to new gun owners to bring them over to our side. I summarize Clancy's and Ludlum's books for him!
Now this is serious, maybe you should contact some book stores in Taiwan and maybe Japan. That might be a wide open market for your book!
I already have friends in Taiwan reviewing the book and considering trying to market it there ... they'd have to do the heavy lifting for any translation though ... LOL!

Grampa Dave is right- money talks, and boycotts work if enough people participate. I haven't bought a movie ticket in years- about the time that x-42 fella came to power with a lot of help from the news and entertainment industry, I decided they didn't need my money....
