I'm with ccmay; any God who creates billions of sentient beings and deliberately condemns all except those he "saves" to eternal suffering is unspeakably evil.

And if you believe as you have stated, you have demonstrated empirically your lack of understanding of the Word of God.

You may freely think this, but this reasoning is not backed by the Bible. If it is, share with us the book, chapter, and verse(s), please.

It is not necessary to deny "free-will" in order to believe in Biblical predestination. It is only when one thinks that man has a greater "free-will" than that possessed by God that one gets in trouble.

All men are free to do exactly as they want, just as God is free to do exactly what He wants.

Many non-predestinarians insist that "free-will" means that you will do that which you don't want to do, but we know better.

St. John 3:16 is absolutely true. But, then, how do you square this if you go backwards to the first chapter of St. John:

¹⁰He [Jesus] was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
¹¹ He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
¹² But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: ¹³ Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Hmmm, could it also be said: "Any God who creates billions of sentient beings, and sends His Son to die for all the sins of all of them, and then doesn't bother to tell millions of them that He has done so, and thus allows them to go to hell, is unspeakably evil"?? (That is, unless you are a Universalist.)

No, God saves according to His desire, and in order to accomplish His good will. It is a miracle that He saves any, seeing as all deserve death and hell.

If He were, then all men would be saved. But that's not going to happen, is it?
