Just a curiosity, how many young FReepers are out there? It truly is a rarity to see a young, intelligent conservative. I myself am a convert, I'm a recovering Lib. So speak up!! Male or Female, it matters not.
If there are quite a few in the Houston, TX area, I was thinking of maybe a meeting up of sorts. I think it would be wonderful to band togather in supporting our country!!
Thanks,
PV

just add the link to your bookmarks and then click on it to search for relevant articles... to "ping" everyone to it, just addres the reply to "20somethings_list" in the "to:" field.

If there had been a "Free Republic" when I was in college (graduated 1995), I might have made it out of there with more hair! :>

Define young. Age is simply a number, its confers neither wisdom or common sense.

32 years old here in Longview, TX. Met my wife in Houston some eight years back when I was living in the "land of opportunity". I loved it down there, but we moved back to Longview after my boy was born. I sure miss Houston. My mother-in-law lives in Clearlake, so we visit when ever possible.
We need more young Freepers, so tell everyone you know about us. It may suprise you that many younger folks don't know what affiliation they are, all the know is what someone else told them. Send them here to show them that it's OK to actually THINK!

Puts to lie the old adage:Anyone who is 20 and isn't a liberal doesn't have a heart.Anyone who's 30 and isn't a conservative doesn't have a brain!

How young is young?
I'm 25.

Aw, you're OLD. Leave us young folks alone.
;^)

Define young, first ;-)
Seriously, never limit your exposures to one generation or another - each generation has its own lessons to share. I'm 35, and I learn from everyone with a valid point of view - younger, older, same age.

Bratty baby brothers...
To: RosieCotton; all
thanks guys! I'm 21 myself. I just got to thinking (which could be dangerous) that maybe I was one of the youngest members here.
It actually feels good to be proven wrong sometimes!
That'll teach me to think next time =)

I started the last young Freeper thread that someone nicely posted the URL for earlier.
I'm 21 years old, male, mixed ethnicity (half Filipino, quarter Polish, quarter mixed British), and hopelessly single (since people keep on mentioning if they're attached or not. Is anyone out there for me? :-P). I'm a native Delawarean who goes to the University of Delaware. The best way that I can describe myself in one word is unique. I'm politically conservative (constitutionalist, admirer of Burke, Cicero, Madison, and others, more along academic/philosophical lines than party line), but I have some more culturally "mainstream" interests for someone my age(such as modern rock (emo, punk, hardcore included), anime, going to rock shows, other stuff). Check out my profile for more information. :-)

Hey cool! I'm part Filipino too! My mom's half Filipino/Korean, and my dad is German, Irish, with a little bit of Native American. Too bad you're in Delaware ;)
