I don't mind the artistic events. I don't think they should be the focus. And I would like them better if they were scored like a sport and not like a beauty pagent.

Ooh, Pops or Pearl Jam. That's tough what with the cross genre and all. The Pops did some really cool stuff when that one guy was the conductor. Pearl Jam always has a good sound, but they don't vary the sound much, if you've got one album you've got them all (they did a great imitation of Crazy Horse working with Neil Young though). I'll have to go with PJ though. When push comes to shove grunge rock is just more fun than light classical.

Agree. All these "beauty pagent" sports like gymnastics, figure skating, etc. are worth watching for the beauty but when it comes to "winning", it's just a joke. They do get the rating though...

So if the Canadians had skated to Pearl Jam would you have voted them 1st? ;-)

Speaking of, did you like the Vedder/Neil Young song after Sept 11th? "Long Road" I think it was. Good stuff!
