Ten minutes.
Rules are rules people...I thought it was the Liberals that had a problem with that.
Stop whining.
LOL...
Sorry Bro...some of us didnt get that opportunity to be incarcerated[Isnt that what you all call it?]and thereby be enlightened[Spiritually and.........physically....winkwink!].
;o)
Let me guess.....Government setup right?
:)
No, Libertarians have problems with nonsensical rules also.
Maybe we should just cut off all flyers thumbs before they get in the plane? Ya know, an ounce of prevention and all that.
I wasn't there but from what I read maybe the marshal should have walked over to the dude, told him he was a jerk and on the verge of getting a wing seat or an extra pie hole. The whole hands on the head, et al, routine seems a bit over the top...
You didnt get a chance to take advantage of one of those federally funded English courses while you were "Locked down" huh?
Hahaha...
"Am I to assume you are what the popular afro-american slang refers to as a thang due to your screen name?"
Forgive me...didnt quite follow that one.
"My screen name relates to the fact I do volunteer work in local prisons dealing with substance abuse and job skills."
I dont care....anyway, I am sure alot of ahem..."volunteers" refer to themsleves as "XCON"'s.
"Hopefully most of them will one day be ex-cons."
If only the Man would stop keeping them down.
And finally....all of the above just to setup this witty retort?
"What does your screen name relate to? Something to do with your boyfriends maybe? wink, wink"
Dry Bro.
You got hit in the head with a pipe when you were in general population didnt you?
YES!
I agree.....that is a brilliant idea.
Geez....when I said whiners unite I was just kidding.
It all DEPENDS on how one feels about the issue.
From Merriam Webster:
"a person who takes a contrary position or attitude"
Hmm. Could this be me? Do I take a contrary position or attitude to...
...mindless, unquestioning obedience to minions of the state? Yes
...trashing the fourth amendment via some bogus "Patriot Act?" Yes again.
...rule by capricious whim of big thug with gun? Oh darn, yes again.
...use of my tax dollars and the blood of our service personnel for empirical "nation building?" Yikes, this is starting to look really bad for me.
...a hypocritical "war against terrorism," while declaring permanent normalization of trade relations with the bloody Chinese regime? Yeah, that pretty much cheeses me off.
...strip searching elderly people in airports while loosening trade restrictions on advanced technology useful to our enemies in the production of weapons systems? Rats! There I go being "contrary" again.
...funding our enemies with millions of my tax dollars as a reward for pretending not to grow poppies? Well, darned if I'm not opposed to that, too.
Well, so far it looks like I very well could be a "contrarian" and I'm not even warmed up yet. I'm not too ashamed though. The way I learned my history, the founders of this nation were "contrarians" too.
And you would be?
Oh yeah. Clueless.
I know that in the schizophrenic world of Contrarian Treky conventions you are taught to pull magic reasons out of your wazoo as to why we all should second guess authority or obliquely imply that our eye in the sky masters would lie in order to Tyranically rule over the world...
We have all seen Ruby Ridge, Waco, Miami, CIA and FBI false testimony. As in the most recent bungling case of the Taliban Walker, the FBI never got anything in writing so they say. Why? These guys are well educated and well trained by the FBI and the CIA.
