Took a look at the emperor-clothes web site. Quite interesting. Has lots of links to back up it's quotes; and excellent critical analysis of comments made during 911 and the following few days.

Nothing like checking it out for ourselves. They have accessible easy to read sources and there are several types of sources. WWW.dcmilitary and ... www.archive.org and enter www.andrews.af.mil ... USA Today, etc.

While I do not yet have an opinion as to how serious this information may be; it certainly brings real concerns to consider.

Propaganda is a deadly thing. Truth is so slanted, scant, scattered, and shorn as to be difficult to discern. A whole new view to wrestle with understanding.

I like George Bush and really want to believe he is a good and honest man. If he too has succumed to lieing and hiding the truth from the people; we are required to ferret it out and not be led down the garden path or to the patriotic stand either, if it is false.

Power can obfuscate and so muddy the water and sky making it impossible to see clearly.

I often have stated that my refugee friends feel that milosevic deserted them in the Krajina....and I understand their feelings. That being said, IT is still not correct for the media of the world to lie and use subterfuge to condemn a leader. IF, the truth will not condemn them....then, that means that they are PROBABLY NOT GUILTY of much.

As a supporter of Reagan and GW, I can see how our own media used lies against them...but somehow our people saw through the lies.

If the case against a leader is based on media lies...then, I am suspect of any charges against those leaders.

Thanks for posting this. I can remember being utterly astonished at the actual content of his speech on Kosovo Field---at the mild, classically Liberal European sentiments expressed therein. It was presented on a German satellite news program in an English-speaking broadcast. There was a strange disconnected feel to the commentary because the Talking Heads kept telling me that I was hearing a speech of such malignance that had not been heard in Europe since the days of Hitler. Yet my ears knew better.

The thing that killed him in the eyes of the Masters of the Universe was the one emotional outburst when he declared that he would not let anyone "hurt you."

This is the only mortal sin left--outbursts of affection and protectiveness towards the sheep one is preparing to sheer and slaughter. One must work to develop a stoic acceptance that sheep, after all, are just sheep; and bear up under the fact that they must be sheared and slaughtered from time to time. How else could a Master of the Universe live with Himself?

Also, when are "experts" going to start delving into the psychology of those who have deconstructed the Serbs? Milosevic will be convicted because the Serbs must be destroyed. Why? When we understand the answer to this--and it's not very hard, really, to find the answer--then we'll be able to predict the future with some accuracy.

I've noticed a marked upsurge in "conservative" commentary the past few weeks in which Milosevic is casually referred to with his old appelations "monster", "butcher", "maniac"--the whole litany. (There are some who think a "Bush" administration is qualitatively different than a "Clinton" administration and they are deluding themselves into believing that the Serbs will find some relief....)

"Conservatives" are being taken to the cleaners and they don't even know their pants are off. They waste their mental energies defending "capitalism", the myth of "free markets" and whining about "affirmative action". The biggest "affirmative action" project in the world is being carried out in the Balkans and conservatives are still referring to Milosevic as "another Hitler"...
