Hello Everyone,
I am currently in the market to purchase a personal handgun, and would like some advice on what would be a good choice. The only requirements I have are that it must be a .40 S&W and be small and concealable. If you have any experience with a weapon that looks like it would meet those requirements, please post and let me know.
Thanks,
Marine Inspector.

Want some cheese with your whine? Sounds like something I would expect from someone who would slam the NRA on one thread and ask for advice on weapons you wouldn't be able to buy except for them on another thread.
I will call it what it is. PURE HYPOCRISY.

With the money you're saving on ammo - you should REALLY look at the Kimber Ultra Carry in .40 S&W.
I have fallen in love with my very small and light Kimber Ultra CDP in .45. The CDP is light and small enough that you will forget you have it with you.....unbelievable. Out of the box, with it's 3" barrel it fired better groups than my 1911.
The Kimber Ultra Carry in .40 has to be one of the best available in that caliber. At least check it out before you buy.
Check it out at this URL:

Read my post 53. This guy (Marine Inspector) despises the NRA. He spent a whole thread bashing them. Do you think he would be able to buy a Glock 27 if the organization he hates and accuses of misinformation wasn't around? There are ligitimate criticisms to be made. But IMO it's better to bring anti NRA gun owners around than bash them.
Just my general opinion, I didn't read the thread. We need all the friends we can get.

Read the thread. He is very anti NRA. He was never a member like he says he was. It burns me to see him slamming the NRA on one hand and buying a handgun he wouldn't be able to buy without them on the other.
He is vocally anti-NRA. Read the thread, it sounds like he is reading from HCI's handbook.

Inspector" I did not renew my NRA membership. "
Since you are not an NRA MEMBER, I'll take back my advice.
Nov3, thanks for the information. I'm getting really tired of the parasites.

I have a S&W CS40 that I absolutely love. Good balance, comfortable, and very consealable.

I'm getting really tired of the parasites. Worse than a parasite, he is actively trying to kill his host.

Firearms advice? I submit that this topic falls under religion and the basic rules apply.....
I must recuse myself as I am a devout member of the Church of the Sacred 1911.

Try the NEW Beretta 96 Vertec. It is made for smaller hands and has a few extra features. I carry the 96 concealed and it does just fine.

With all due respect sir, if you feel you may equivocate the pro-gun and anti-gun forces due to some sort of equalizing disinformation from both sides, I fear you should do some serious reflection.
In RKBA you are either with us .....or by default not.

1) Are you his attorney?
If you are not, I guess he speaks for himself.
2) Many people think the NRA is about gun rights. Only the socialists believe that.
The NRA is about Gun shooting skills and firearms safety skills since 1871.
3) Gun Rights and and 2nd amendment issues are addressed by the NRA-ILA, the lobbying group.
4) I am not the NRA corporation; however I meet many, many hard-core shooters in my training sessions.
Many, many hard-core combat pistol shooters who love their 1911's, shoot Glocks in competition for reliability.

The NRA supports CARA. With that, they lost my support.

I don't have a problem with people who like groups such as GOA or JPFO and consider them better. I have a problem with people who go out of their way to destroy the most active pro-second amendemt group we have on the mistaken idea that they should have done "more", while they sit on the sidelines.

Read this
THREAD. It is self explanatory. He lambasts the NRA and "Pro Gun People". This guy represents the worse of the government/slash LEO members. He thinks he is a privileged class and thhe NRA is a lying hateful organization that ranks with HCI.

If you are not, I guess he speaks for himself. He does speak for himself on the thread. Read it. Maybe you are in complete agreement with him. I hope not.
I shoot competitively through the NRA and am well aware of their original mission.
