They weren't cheering for Al-Qaida. They were making an anthrax joke.

I just LOVE the words on the screen - "GUN DISCHARGES"... yup, that evil gun, seeing the break it was waiting for, discharged... Luckily, a nearby human then took the gun into custody to stop it from discharging again...Guns mysteriously discharging, with police nearby to take control of the wayward gun.... then the antigunners telling me about all the guns on the street, and I'm thinking they are just hopping around by themselves..... I mean this is a dangerous world we live in, huh???

I *TOTALLY* disagree!!!!! Women seem to have a MUCH better sense of safety with firearms than ANY man I have ever trained!!!! HUH???? ... Look I live near Philly .. the Local News is reporting is was a Women Cop .. it was Germantown .. and to a previous poster .. No Jesse Jackson won't have a reason to come up here
Now since it is you Laz .. I am guessing .. you're just pulling my chain .. lol

Silly is better than shabby.I just *know* you'll contribute something worthwhile to a thread, someday.
I just *know* it.

No kidding... a dangerous world... just the other day, I was walking down the sidewalk when, to my surprise, I saw a gun ambling down the street towards me. We exchanged greetings, and then he added, "Well, good day! I'm off to rob a convenience store!" and off he went...

Women seem to have a MUCH better sense of safety with firearms than ANY man I have ever trained!!!! Not quite true in this case. Further reports (posted above) indicate that the officer was the mother of a student at the school.

Must have advocated the scare tactics of speaking of phantom lost libertiescold, dude. i'm shiverin'.
To: Mo1, shermy
Thanks for the link Shermy.... yes, it is scary - I have one child in an elememtary school (so far unaffected) and a daughter at the High School...the story should break tonight that the rash is now being seen there!
I don't know if the kids affected at the H.S. are related to the younger ones or not.....

Now since it is you Laz .. I am guessing .. you're just pulling my chain .No, I was serious, but if the news is reporting a CopChick did it, then she did.
She'd be the exception to my rule, then, because I found about 65% of men were very focused about gun safety, 30% were a little too lackadaisical, and 5% were just plain reckless or stupid.
But with women, the ratios were more like 85% very focused about gun safety, 10% too lackadaisical, and 5% too intimidated by the firearm.

I pray that this child will survive with no long term effects...

"Two such of Philly's finest were relieved of duty in September of 2001 after being recorded on the dispatch tapes as cheering for the al Quaida terrorists and the destruction of the WTC. Incredible! Do you have a source for this story? I quickly tried to look it up, no luck.
To: francisandbeans
No, alcuin. He goes from thread to thread being snide, mostly. You, I love like a brother. A hulking, mentally ill, chained-in-the-basement brother.
To: KirkandBurke
I couldn't resist...It was one of those moments.
That being said, I am surprised so few folks called me on it.
To: Mo1
I saw this also .. local news doesn't come on here till 4:00 Why is it important that we know what time your local news comes on?
To: Lazamataz
Hey now, we restrict that talk to threads not dealing with dead kids.
