Carville's 'Enron' Memo Seeks Scandal, but American People Disagree

On January 28th of this year, one day before President Bush's State of the Union speech, Democracy Corps, a group led by James Carville, Stan Greenberg, and Bob Shrum, issued a memorandum to its ''friends'' as a preemptive strike to thwart Bush's increasing popularity. Their weapon? Enron.

The memo, simplistically entitled ''Enron,'' is represented as the collective analytical work of Carville, Greenberg, and Shrum. The memo's goal is clear: ''Enron has the potential to shape the entire political environment for 2002, impact other issues and reduce confidence in the Bush Administration and Republicans.'' The survey, however, tells a much different story than the Democracy Corps analysis suggests.

Carville et al. are correct. The Enron scandal is a cancer on the presidency, profiting only those Enron execs who gave generously to Dumbya in 2000 and adversely affecting the fortunes of other stock market investors. Dumbya's failure even to mention the name "Enron" in public utterances demonstrates the puny presidential imposter's impotence in the face of a rising tide that will kick his ignorant butt out of the WH, 3 long years from now.

Ah MurryMom, was it getting boring over at DUh? Did you decide to scurry on over to here and liven things up a bit? Does your pathetic screeching and name-calling somehow make you feel like a bigger, better person? Go back to the sewer with all your other Rat friends.

Rush is right. You people are funny when you're safely out of power.

By your logic-everytime a union leader is under investigation-does that mean every Democrat is guilty also??

This is all the dumbocrats have to go on...they've got no concrete solutions to the problems facing this nation. They know victory (if you can call it that)only through search-and-destroy tactics; NOT through ingenuity, hardwork, sound policy. They're nothing but losers and it's great to see as time passes by that they're showing their true colors for what they are...dispicable losers! DEATH TO LIBERALISM! should be our battle cry!

This whole Carville memo thing really makes my blood boil!!! I don't have any respect for many - if any - Democrat politicans - but this takes the cake.

What about the 3000 people murdered on 9/11 don't these idiots understand?? What about the War on Terrorism do they not understand?? What about the security of our country don't they understand??

When are they going to realize the vast majority of Americans simply don't have the stomach for their dirty politics. It's really turning us off. I'm not even taking into consideration the difference between DNC and RNC.

What I am talking about is the very survival of America against the most evil group of people on earth. I'm concerned about what kind of country will be left for my children and grandchildren. I'm concerned about the next terrorist attack. I'm concerned about a nuclear bomb on American soil. I'm concerned about our military in this long war.

What I'm NOT concerned about are the POLITICAL games that Carville and the DNC are playing. Where is their concern for the survival of our country? What are they doing to fight the next attack? What are they doing to protect the people of America? Is their answer to put "their" guy in the White House? Is that the best they can do for us?

We have a President and he's doing a H*LL of a job for us. Our focus - and theirs - should be on our safety and doing whatever it takes to rid the world of terrorists.
