WHo's funding the TV ads that attack Riordan for giving money to pro-life candidates and causes? The ads have been running nonstop for the past two nights - - but they don't indicate who's sponsoring them. Since they come from a left-wing perspective, you'd think it would be Davis or some liberal group - - - - but is it possible some conservative Republicans are funding an effort to undermine Riordan with liberal voters?

The sponsorship info is at the very bottom of the screen for the first ten seconds, or so. I've yet to be close enough to the screen to read it yet, however.

If they are the same ads I have seen then they DO tell you who they are paid for. Watch the first few seconds of the ad - at the bottom of the screen is Gray Davis' TV ads with the words "Paid for by Governor Gray Davis Committee" or something to that effect.

I can't help but think Davis is behind them, but isn't it a little early for him to be attacking Riordan? In any case, those ads are new low. Pro-abortion Riordan isn't pro-abortion enough? I mean, who are they aiming these ads at? How many Planned Parenthood employees vote in the Republican primary anyway?
