Yeah that was pretty disgusting, but did you see that pro-life commercial that ran during SNL tonight? That was awsome.

It's because of stuff like this I haven't watched SNL for a couple of years now. If this is a sample of how bad it truly has become, I'm glad I didn't see it.

I don't watch SNL very often, in fact I probably haven't in over a year, but the cartoon segment is routinely this crude. It is usually quite offensive and they seem to get away with it because it's a cartoon.
It's more of the same liberal bilge you get from all the networks. If you really want to express your outrage, write the network, write your local station and write the sponsors. They'll probably be more pleased to know you watched than unhappy that you were offended.

What the heck where you doing watching SNL!? Kill your TV - I did.

SNL was gone as soon as Chevy Chase left, once he was gone, it was all downhill from there. Haven't watched it but once since then, and it just proved the point. They are SOOO NOT funny.....

They make fun of everything. Don't feel as though you're the only one. A couple of weeks ago they had a cartoon (The X-Presidents) that made fun of Clinton and Carter, but made Reagan look really good. Smigel's cartoons in particular are made to offend as many different people as possible, so he seems to have accomplished his mission here.

It's saturday night live, not 60 minutes, get a grip. Comedy can't always be making fun of liberals. I didn't think it was funny, but when I believe all of us laughed last week when the cartoon was making fun of Carter. It's Just a TV show RELAX

I don't watch SNL very much basically because it's just not funny anymore. Chris Farley was the last funny guy they had on that show.
I'm not a big Pat Robertson fan, in fact, I think he's an absolute embarrassment to the conservative and pro-life movements. But the fact that they ridiculed the beliefs of pro-life folks like myself is enough for me to switch off NBC on Saturday nights for good.

I believe the last SNL I watched was one in late 1998 -- in which they portrayed Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee cutting off Democratic politicians' statements (the exact opposite of what actually happened) and referred to Rep. Bob Barr as a "weasel."
I might have stuck with it longer if they had enough talent in the cast to make it worth watching. Is Darrell Hammond still there? He's the only guy left who could make me laugh on that show.
I have said it before, I will say it again -- you know you have a lame comedy show if your go-to-guy for laughs is Will Ferrell. IMHO, that guy steals every buck he makes on the premise he is funny.

This is the value that the New World Order places on the people they will rule over. There will be the 'elite' and there will be the great unwashed who exist to serve the elite.

Smigel is an equal oppertunity offender. I thought the part about homophobia was intended as a mockery of Robertson himself, rather than Christianity. Robertson has said some fairly wacked things in the past. Such as the Florida should brace themselves for a hurrican after some city allowed a gay pride protest. Anyway, it's just SNL, lighten up!

TV FUNHOUSE is most USUALLY disgusting whomever they are attacking.
One of them was about former presidents, and then at one point showed two (or more) of the Presidents having sex together!
Who does this FUNHOUSE-------can't recall, need to do some research AND WRITE a letter of protest, especially after tonights, which thankfully I missed.
Thanks for the info!

The atheistic screen-guild, along with their friends in law, the media, and the government, have been blaspheming Christ's name for a long time. In my opinion, it is clear evidence of the time that we are in.

SNL? Didn't there used to be a program on TV called Saturday Night Live? < /sarcasm>
I watched when it was Belushi, Aykroyd, Chase, Radner, Tomlin. i.e. when it was good. This show hasn't been good, ooooooh, for more than a decade. The fact that people still watch that crap is astonishing. Nothing personal, but if having no taste were illegal, you'd be looking at a life sentence (you have to watch game shows to get the chair). I'd be embarassed to admit that I still watch that crap.

Well the purpose of it is to be insulting. I'm not really offended knowing they were going the insensitive route to begin ith. I do doubt however that they would use this formula against other religious groups.

Which is why I don't watch it anymore and why I don't buy most name brand products. If they weren't sponsoring them they wouldn't have the platform to fill others with propaganda.

The message was clear: it is absurd to suppose that life begins at conception. Would you enlighten me on what Scriptures it says that life begins at conception? If you dumb enough to watch SNL I can't wait to see how you answer me, if you do.
